#Singpass Digital IC for Polling Day on 1 Sept
For the first time, voters will have the option to conveniently use their Digital Identification Card (IC) on the Singpass app to verify their identity on Polling Day (1 September 2023).
Voters can also choose to take bring along their physical National Registration Identity Card or passport for identification purposes at the polling stations.

Malware, or malicious software, refers to any program or file that is intentionally harmful to a computer, network, or server.
Malware can:
😱 Steal, encrypt, and delete sensitive data
😱 Alter or hijack core computing functions
😱 Monitor end users’ computer activity
Examples of malware include:
👾Computer viruses 👾Worms 👾Trojan horses 👾Ransomware 👾Spyware
Malware is increasingly used for scams! Always check for scam signs with official sources (e.g. visit www.scamalert.sg or call the Anti-Scam Helpline at 1800-722-6688).
If you suspect that you have been a victim of a scam, do tell authorities, family and friends, and report any fraudulent banking transactions to your bank immediately.

Some of GovTech’s software has also been open-sourced. For example, developers can access and tap on OpenAttestation, the base framework behind OpenCerts, HealthCerts and TradeTrust.
The entire framework of OpenAttestation and its products has been open-sourced, making it available for both the public and private companies to review, implement and integrate into their systems.
