Tokens Update / Clarification -
Greetings from GOV COM SERVICES !!
We wish to clarify that in November 2022, CCA had issued some guidelines to be followed by the Tokens Company after 31st March 2023. One of the guidelines are that Tokens serial number should start with the Tokens Company Initials.
Example - Proxkey Tokens serial should start with WD as company name is watchdata.
hence the initials of the company are WD.
For Hyp tokens, Initials - HS
For mTokens, Initials - CL
Sameways for other Tokens Company as well.
After 31st march 2023, DSCs will be allowed to download only in such new serial number type of tokens.
Current Scenario -
Hence, you will not be able to download DSCs in all the Old serial number Tokens lying with you. Currently majority of the associates, company and customers are having old serial number format tokens, which shall get discontinue post 31st March.
What to do now ?
You need to download dsc in old serial number format tokens till 31st March, 2023 and finish your current tokens stock.
New serial number format tokens with Company initials will soon enter into market. Hence if you wish to buy tokens now, then ideally you should wait for new tokens to come into market and buy those new tokens if you will not be able to complete your stock till 31st march.
What will happen if old serial number tokens stock does not get utilised till 31st March ?
As per the sources and information received, any solution may come so that you get the time to finish your old stock.. May be Extension may be allowed by CCA for next 2-3 months or 6 months for finishing your old stock or May be an updation feature may be launched by tokens companies after permission from CCA to update the old serial number tokens to comply with the guidelines..
Talks with CCA by Tokens Companies & DSC Companies are going on regarding the solution.
Meaning thereby, positively any type of solution is expected by majority of the dealers. But still some risk is involved, if not huge, if you are not able to finish your old stock. Risk cannot be defined at this point of time.. *but according to us, its 1% risk*. for some, it can be 10% to 50% riskier.
So Take decision accordingly.
If no extension or no updation option given, then all your unused tokens lying with you after 31st march, will be your dead stock and you will have to discard it.

? Should be aware of the prescribed Ind- AS / Indian Accounting standards; Manage and
oversee the effective implementation of basic accounting systems such as payables,
receivables, reconciliation, bookkeeping entries into the respective ledgers etc. in line
with the accounting standards and Organizational guidelines.
? Oversee effective cash and bank management activities; Periodically monitor bank
accounts to ensure compliance with respect to prescribed limits, preparation of monthly
drawing power statements and submission to banks, preparation of CMA reports for limits
renewal.
? Ensure overall tax compliance for the Organization by arranging for timely and correct
payment of tax to minimize penal interest.
? Formulate and review accounting policies & procedures on a continuous basis; Drive the
development / up-gradation of a robust Accounting Manual.
? Review the financial accounting and cost accounting systems to provide timely, accurate
and consistent inputs for management reporting
? Oversee the timely publishing of required financial statements (cash flow statement, bank
balances, payables and receivables etc.)
? Coordinate with Auditors to ensure timely submission and review of audit reports (Internal,
Statutory and Tax Audits); Ensure adherence to all statutory requirements and guidelines.
? Ensure compliance with respect to statutory requirements such as TDS, GST, TCS, Form
16 etc.; Oversee TDS, GST returns filing and ensure adherence to all related compliance
requirements.
? Build and maintain trackers for new business opportunities to control costs and drive
profitability.
? Conduct performance appraisals of Departmental staff / personnel
? Assess and fulfil training and career development requirements.
? Foster an environment of learning, excellence and innovation within all aspects of
teamwork.
? Mentor and coach subordinates to develop the team?s capabilities.
? Ad-hoc analysis / reporting as may be required by the Management
