On blast in Amritsar, DIG Border Range Satinder Singh says, "Prima facie the case looks clear, the six persons who got injured, one of them have died. In the investigation of past blast cases, the blast materials used to be kept at an abandoned place for retrieval, then the person retrieving acted, 1-2 terrorist organisations might have a link, they came to retrieve, then blast happened, further investigation is going on... FSL team has come, whether it is grenade or IED, it would be ascertained after investigation. It seems that the blast happened during retrieval. As per the evidence, it is clear that the person was member of a terrorist organisation."
