This feature allows you to press one of the emoji (👏, 😂, 🎉,😢,💩,🥁) during the call to play the corresponding sounds for the person you're calling. At the same time the animation corresponding to the emotion will also be played on the screen.
The function can be accessed using the button above the toolbar of the call screen. It can be turned off in Settings / Audio Emoji.
The development of such a feature was first reported in September by AssembleDebug, at that time the feature was called Sound Reaction.

The essence of this component is that carousel containers move at a different speed than their contents, creating a parallax effect. It first appeared in the Material Components Android 1.9.0 release, which became stable May 2023.
Now, the component has finally made its way to the Google Photos memories carousel at the top of the home page list and is available by default when you upgrade to version 6.81.

On the second day of Google I/O, the company released the second beta version of Android 15, which is now also available on the Pixel 8a. Anyone can install it, but still we do not recommend doing so, for this is a Beta.
Information about the new features will be detailed in the next posts.
Build: AP31.240426.022
Security patch level: May 2024
❗️Warning: Before applying an Android 15 OTA image, Google strongly recommend that you unlock the bootloader on your device if possible. Unlocking the bootloader requires a full device reset that removes all user data on the device, so make sure to back up your data first❗️

Android 15 Beta 2 adds " Private Space" — the ability to hide apps on your device.
Private space lets users create a separate space on their device where they can keep sensitive apps away from prying eyes, under an additional layer of authentication. The private space uses a separate user profile. When a user locks the private space, the profile is paused and any apps in the private space are no longer active. The user can choose to use the device lock or a separate lock factor for the private space.
Apps in the private space show up in a separate container in the launcher, and are hidden from the recents view, notifications, settings, and from other apps when the private space is locked. User-generated and downloaded content (such as media or files) and accounts are separated between the private space and the main space.
The system sharesheet and the photo picker can be used to give apps access to content across spaces when the private space is unlocked.
*Since apps in the private space have restricted visibility, some types of apps need to take additional steps to be able to see and interact with apps in a user's private space.
❗️Caution: There is a known issue when creating a private space on a device for the first time removes app icons from the Home screen. Google will release a bug fix soon.
