Google Pixel 8 and Samsung Galaxy S24 get new "Circle to Search" feature.
The fresh flagships of the two tech giants are getting a new "Circle to Search" gesture triggered by holding down the home button or gesture navigation bar. The info on your screen will then open up in Google Lens.
From here, you'll be able to circle or scribble an object of interest to "focus" your search query on it or, if you're looking for text, tap and highlight the info you want. When you’re done, simply swipe away and you’re right back where you started.
The "Circle to Search" feature launches on January 31 on the Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro and the new Samsung Galaxy S24 series - in all languages and in all regions where they're available.

Made by Google X account published a post with the binary-coded message "Fresh year, fresh drop." The post is accompanied by a blue Pixel 8 Pro, which is painted graffiti-style with a minty solid color, followed by the date 1.25.24.

Insider OnLeaks in collaboration with MySmartPrice has shared the first renders of Google's next flagship Pixel 9 Pro. According to their source, the smartphone will come with a flat 6.5-inch display versus the 6.7 in the 8 Pro. The dimensions of the upcoming Pixel 9 Pro will be 162.7 x 76.6 x 8.5mm, (12.0mm including the camera unit).
The Pixel 9 Pro will also get flat edges, with power and volume buttons on the right side, while the SIM tray will move to the bottom edge to the right of the Type-C port. The top edge will house the mmWave antenna and microphone.
Finally, Google will also update the design of the camera unit, now resembling the design that was applied to the Pixel Fold. MySmartPrice believe that the main camera module could be equipped with a variable aperture, as evidenced by its size.
*UPD (27/03/2024): It became known that the model is likely to be called Pixel 9 Pro XL.

Back in September, we already saw live images of the device in blue, followed by renders and approximate dimensions. Now, a Vietnam-based Facebook group for Pixel devices has posted box images confirming one of the device's colors.
The box shows a recommendation to use a charging unit with a maximum power of 27W, which is equivalent to the specs of the Pixel 8.

Following the Pixel 9 Pro, insider OnLeaks (via 91Mobiles) has shared renders of the vanilla Pixel 9. The device will feature a 6.1-inch display with dimensions of 152.8 x 71.9 x 8.5mm (12.0mm including the camera unit).
The Pixel 9 will also get flat edges and an updated camera unit. The SIM tray will also be moved to the bottom edge to the right of the Type-C port.
But most notably, for the first time, the vanilla Pixel 9 will get 3 rear camera modules, including a telephoto lens. And it will also feature a temperature sensor like the Pixel 9 Pro (if of course it's still a temperature sensor)
