🇬🇧 Soon Google Lens will have a new Multitask Unified Model (MUM) search algorithm.
At the presentation, they demonstrated how it works by searching for "Socks with this pattern", and the result is a list of stores that sell socks with a similar pattern. Or, for example, you would look up how to fix a speed shifter on a bicycle simply by pointing the lens on it and asking "How to fix it," and MUM would show you a video with the right timecode.

На презентации продемонстрировали ее работу на примере поискового запроса по картинке " Найди носки с таким рисунком". В результате вам выводится список магазинов, где продаются носки с подобным рисунком. Или, например, вы будете искать как починить переключатель скорости на велосипеде просто наведя на него объектив и спросив "Как починить", и MUM покажет вам видео с нужным таймкодом.

🇬🇧 Google is improving the "About this result" feature, it will now show how the site describes itself and how others describe this source, as well as similar topics and results. And if Google can't find anything, it will notify you.

🇬🇧 Google reported on the work of their Plus Codes project, which they launched six years ago.
During that period, Plus Codes addresses have acquired more than 20 million places, including schools and healthcare facilities. As a reminder, Plus Codes are addresses for places that don't have streets or house numbers. They also have their own integration into Google Maps. You can see your Plus Code simply by clicking on your location icon on the map.
