After several hours of flying back from Spain, Shana and I finally arrived home. The moment I opened the front door, a familiar sense of comfort immediately settled in. Our house had never felt this good.
I placed our luggage near the entrance and looked over at Shana, who was standing beside me, visibly tired from the long journey.
“Finally home,” I said with a quiet smile.
She smiled back, letting out a soft sigh. “I missed our home so much.”
“Me too,” I replied, walking closer and pulling her into my arms. “Spain was great, but nothing beats coming back here with you.”
She rested her head against my chest. “I just want to sleep in our bed.”
I laughed softly. “Then let’s not waste another minute.”
We stood there for a moment, simply enjoying the quietness of our own home. After days of airports, flights, hotels, and endless places to explore, being back in our own space felt like exactly where we were supposed to be.
Our luggage could wait. The unpacking could wait.

BARCELONA.
Spain gave me some damn good days — good food, beautiful places, long walks, late nights, random moments, and memories I definitely wasn’t expecting to make. I’m leaving with more than I came with, and honestly, that’s probably the best part of traveling. Now it’s time to board, put the city behind me, and head back across the skies to France.
