For most of Bitcoin's history, miners never chose what went into their blocks. The pool decided. A handful of pools have quietly controlled most Bitcoin blocks for over a decade.

Today, that changed.

Working with the DMND pool, we mined a block where the miner built and declared the template, using Stratum V2's Job Declaration.

We chose the transactions. We built the block. The pool stepped aside.
And the transactions we chose were GoBTC Pay transactions.
