New crypto card by Nexo allows users to pay without selling Bitcoin
Major cryptocurrency loan company Nexo has officially launched a crypto-backed Mastercard card enabling users to pay for services with cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (BTC) without selling their crypto. Nexo has partnered with Mastercard and the peer-to-peer payment startup DiPocket to launch the Nexo Card, a crypto card allowing cardholders to use their crypto as collateral rather than selling it, the firm announced in a statement to Cointelegraph on Wednesday.
The card is linked to a Nexo-provided, crypto-backed credit line allowing to use of multiple assets as collateral, including but not limited to Bitcoin, Ether (ETH) and the Tether (USDT) stablecoin.

Today we have a burning day again, so here's a quick reminder on what it is and how it increases the GMT token supply capacity.
We issued tokens on the ERC-20 standard and burned them.
Here are all the details:
▪️ we introduced 10 000 TH of computing power
▪️ then issued 5 830 904 GMT on the ERC-20 standard

Australian research firm Roy Morgan has conducted a study into cryptocurrency investments. The study took place between December 2021 and February this year; the results were published Tuesday.
Founded in 1941, Roy Morgan describes itself as Australia’s largest independent research company with “an unparalleled reputation for reliable, accurate, meaningful, revealing market research.” It has offices across Australia, as well as in Indonesia, the U.K., and the U.S.
The firm detailed:
“The latest Roy Morgan research into Australians’ investments shows 5%, or over 1 million Australians aged 18+, now own at least one cryptocurrency.”

The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is reportedly considering issuing a national stablecoin that is built on blockchain, a statement released by The Open Network (TON) has said. In addition, the DRC, along with Cameroon and the Republic of Congo, are planning to adopt cryptocurrency and blockchain-based solutions powered by the TON.
According to TON’s statement, the announcement of the blockchain entity’s plan to deliver these solutions follows its successful engagements with each of the three countries. Adoption of TON’s crypto and blockchain solutions by the three countries will be phased, the statement suggested.

Argentinian Securities Regulator Launches Innovation Hub to Discuss Regulated Crypto Investments
The National Securities Commission (CNV), the Argentinian Securities regulator, is reportedly taking action to streamline the arrival of new fintech and crypto-based investment instruments to the market. The institution recently launched an innovation hub that will link private investors with regulators, to exchange information about the requirements these products must meet to be released to market.
Andres Consentino, president of the CNV, was optimistic about the future of this initiative. He stated:

A report recently shared by Americas Markets Intelligence has shown significant growth when it comes to cryptocurrency adoption in Argentina. The survey, that was made last year by polling 400 different users via smartphone, found that 12 out of 100 Argentinians had invested in crypto last year. While this number may appear low, it is actually higher than the statistics found for other countries in South America. Brazil reached an adoption of 7%, while Mexico had 6%.
The country was also above the average adoption rate in Latam, which was 8%. This is explained due to several reasons that derive from the economic traits of the country, where inflation and monetary restrictions have been affecting the population for years. However, the adoption percentage in Argentina is below the 16% found in the U.S.
