Over 5,000 surgical masks were distributed over the past 10 days – we thank you for being proactive in safeguarding yourselves and the public.
Please note that mask distribution at GoHub has been paused until more stocks arrive.
We would like to remind the community to remain vigilant and play your part in preventing the spread of the Novel Coronavirus by practicing good hygiene.
We advise driver-partners to:
DO’s
✅ Open the vehicle’s windows when ferrying passengers with flu-like symptoms
✅ Wear a mask and open the vehicle’s windows when ferrying passengers with flu-like symptoms OR if you’re experiencing respiratory symptoms yourself
✅ Clean and disinfect your car regularly, especially high human contact points such as door handles and seats
✅ Wear a surgical mask if you have respiratory symptoms such as a cough or runny nose, and see a doctor as soon as such symptoms develop
✅ Regularly wash your hands

⏰ Time for a stretch break! 🏃 Exercise #1: Tip Toe
Driving for a long time slows down the circulation of blood from the lower legs back to the heart. Do this simple exercise – tip toe.
Tip toeing while seated activates the calf muscles to pump the blood back up the body towards the heart.
Instructions
1⃣ While seated, make sure you make a 90 degree angle at your knee with both legs.
2⃣ Plant your toes to the floor mat while raising your heel slowly up and down for 30 seconds.
3⃣ Complete 2 sets.

All driver-partners are reminded to practise social responsibility and as an added precautionary measure, to take your body temperature at least 2 times a day.
Let’s stay calm and continue to do your part to prevent the spread of the Novel Coronavirus.

In view of the Ministry of Health’s (MOH) 7 February 2020 advisory on the n-CoV situation, we wish to inform all driver-partners that health screening on 17-21 February 2020 will not be carried out, until further notice.
These health screenings were organised in partnership with the Health Promotion Board and Doctor Anywhere to take care of your health and safeguard your well-being.
We will continue to closely monitor the evolving situation with our partners and take guidance from MOH’s advisories which can be found on https://www.moh.gov.sg.

Starting tomorrow, 11 February, you are encouraged to log your daily temperature two times a day using this convenient online form: gjk.sg/temperature-taking
Drivers who are not feeling well should stop work immediately and see a doctor.
Stay calm and remember that we can all do our part by remaining vigilant, and practising good personal hygiene and being socially responsible.

✅ Do stop driving and see a doctor immediately if you have a fever or are unwell system

Dear driver-partners,
As a precautionary measure, all taxi and private hire car drivers are required to monitor their temperatures more frequently.
To help you better keep track of your daily temperature, you are encouraged to log your temperature at least 2x a day, before you start your shift and periodically in between.
There are now two ways you can do so:
1⃣ Submit your daily temperature via Gojek's online form here: gjk.sg/temperature-taking
2⃣ (NEW) Visit the temperature screening stations @ Stadium MRT Taxi Stand, set up by the Private Hire Vehicle Association ("NPHVA") along with ride-hailing operators like Gojek, TADA, Grab, and Ryde.

On 13 February 2020, the Land Transport Authority and Ministry of Transport announced a Point-to-Point Support Package to help taxi and private-hire car drivers affected by the COVID-19 outbreak.
We are working closely with the authorities to flesh out the details of this scheme.
Gojek driver-partners can receive an income support of up to $20 daily, which can hopefully provide some relief to you during this period.
We will share with you details such as eligibility, application and disbursement, through our official communication channels, once they are ready.

Make sure you have ample space in your seat - create more space by moving your seat backwards.

In view of the surge in the number of confirmed cases in the Republic of Korea, particularly in Daegu city and Cheongdo county, further precautionary measures have been put in place to limit the risk that travellers from these affected regions pose to Singapore. Gojek will continue to track the travel and health status of our driver-partners as requested by the authorities.
