Health advisory #2: Wuhan virus

Dear driver-partners,

There have been several confirmed cases of the Wuhan virus in Singapore. You can do your part by practising good hygiene. Please continue to remain vigilant and see a doctor immediately if you feel unwell to safeguard your loved ones and those around you.

We advise driver-partners to:

Wear a mask and open the vehicle’s windows when ferrying passengers with flu-like symptoms
Clean and disinfect your car regularly, especially high human contact points such as door handles and seats
Wear a surgical mask if you have respiratory symptoms such as a cough or runny nose, and see a doctor as soon as such symptoms develop.

😷 Driver-partners who require surgical masks, sanitizers or anti-bacterial wipes can head down to GoHub (38 Sin Ming Lane)to get them.

⚠️ Note that if you are well, there is generally no need for you to use a mask.

On top of the government’s Quarantine Order Allowance Scheme, Gojek will provide you with protection and earnings stability through the following programs:

Earnings protection: As part of GoalBetter, eligible driver-partners will be covered under prolonged medical leave insurance of up to $1,040 in the event that you are served with a Quarantine Order (QO) or have to take medical leave.

Waiver of vehicle rental: If you are issued a QO, your vehicle rental will be waived for the period of the quarantine if you are renting from a GoFleet partner and have onboarded into the GoFleet program.

COVID-19: Daily temperature taking 🌡

Dear driver-partners,

As a precautionary measure, all taxi and private hire car drivers are required to monitor their temperatures more frequently.

To help you better keep track of your daily temperature, you are encouraged to log your temperature at least 2x a day, before you start your shift and periodically in between.

There are now two ways you can do so:

1⃣ Submit your daily temperature via Gojek's online form here: gjk.sg/temperature-taking

2⃣ (NEW) Visit the temperature screening stations @ Stadium MRT Taxi Stand, set up by the Private Hire Vehicle Association ("NPHVA") along with ride-hailing operators like Gojek, TADA, Grab, and Ryde.

Time: 11AM to 3PM daily, starting from 14 February 2020

If your temperature is below 38°C , an 'I am OK' sticker will be issued to you to indicate that you are well. We strongly recommend that you submit your temperature via the online form after a screening at the station.

If you are feeling unwell, please stop work immediately and see a doctor. And remember to stay safe by practising good hygiene.
