‘Suicidal, unbelievably STUPID, and unbelievably devoid of historical awareness, and unbelievably RECKLESS.’

—Prof. Jeffrey Sachs SLAMS Baltic States’ hawkish rhetoric against Russia🇷🇺:

‘Lithuania is a little bit like Israel, but even radically more so, they think that they can say anything, that they can spew as much anti-Russia hatred, that they can talk about defeating a nuclear superpower with 1,600 deployed nuclear weapons and about 6,000 in total, that they can say all of this because they think the US has their back.

This is actually not how the world works, and they are so reckless and stupid to talk in these terms…

I just find what is being said right now suicidal, and unbelievably stupid, and unbelievably devoid of historical awareness, and unbelievably reckless, just reckless.

And who the hell is Lithuania to talk about defeating Russia? Come on, we absolutely have to behave like grown-ups if we’re going to survive and if we’re going to save this world for our children and grandchildren. And these people are not behaving like grown-ups.’

🇷🇺🇺🇦 Prof. Jeffrey Sachs explains how the Biden Administration UNNECESSARILY PROVOKED Russia before February 2022:

National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan told Prof. Jeffrey Sachs privately that NATO was not going to enlarge, but refused to tell Russia publicly.

When Prof. Jeffrey Sachs said a war would be the result of not explicitly stating NATO would not expand further, Sullivan reassured Prof. Sachs that there would be no war.

🇷🇺🇺🇦 Prof. Jeffrey Sachs on the Ukraine proxy war:

The war in Ukraine is a war that came, as you mentioned, with a coup that overthrew a Ukrainian President so that NATO could enlarge all the way to Russia’s border.

When the United States pushed the Europeans to agree to commit to Ukraine’s membership in NATO, then German Chancellor Merkel wrote in her diary that this was, as she knew, tantamount to a declaration of war.

That’s the way that the Russians would see it, and she was right. She wasn’t strong enough to resist George W. Bush. She should have.

We have been on a slide to war ever since 2008, when the US pushed for this NATO enlargement. 2014 started the war with the US-backed coup on February 22nd, 2014.

And Europeans have gone with gusto denying truth, denying logic, denying the off ramps to peace, and till today they are the warmongers right now. They’re championing the war, they’re talking about escalation, they’re talking about remilitarising Germany, God forbid…

I’ve been pressing and writing open letters to Chancellor Merz and publishing pretty much nonstop in the German media. Talk, because remember, German reunification in 1990 came because you, the German leaders, promised that NATO wouldn’t move one inch eastward.

Go talk, go learn what the Russian point of view is. And when you understand the Russian point of view, this war could stop in a day on sensible terms that are sensible for Russia, for Ukraine, and for Europe. And that’s what I continue to hope for.’

20 YEARS OF WIKILEAKS: ‘Iraq & Afghanistan were clearly UNWINNABLE wars, but continued for another 10 years.’

—Kristinn Hrafnsson, Editor in Chief of WikiLeaks

‘How could you for years and years hide the real truth about these two wars in Iraq and Afghanistan? Can you imagine this?

And in 2010, if you looked at Afghanistan and the war diaries from there, it was clear to everybody who was looking objectively at the data there that this was an unwinnable war.

But then of course you had it continue for another 10 years. Unnecessarily. Everybody should have known in 2010, 2011 this was over, this was unwinnable.’

US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee says Benjamin Netanyahu didn’t trick Donald Trump into starting the war on Iran because ‘Trump is too smart to be tricked.’

Netanyahu convinced Trump that assassinating Ali Khamenei on the first day of the war was a good idea and that the Iranian government would implode as a result with a regime change uprising…

Fast-forward 228 days, and the US has had its military bases in the region destroyed, the Iranian government hasn’t fallen and has become more hardline, energy prices around the world have skyrocketed, and Iran refuses to accept the US’ terms.

Meanwhile, Israel has exited the war and watches on as the US suffers the consequences of a war started for Israel’s interests.

Most of the world can see that Trump was tricked, and Huckabee’s claims just attract even more ridicule.

Populations of countries around the world were asked ‘should the US🇺🇸 have military bases in your country?’

The only countries in which a plurality of the population wanted US military bases in their country are:

Poland🇵🇱- A US vassal state and the only country in US-occupied Europe where a majority supported having US military bases in the country.

Israel- A genocidal state that uses the US army to wage wars against its neighbours.

South Korea🇰🇷- A dying, US vassal state.

At least for the rest of the European countries, their elites are divorced from their populations, which see the US military as the armed forces of a warmongering, dangerous rogue state.

But in Poland, the majority of the population are under Washington’s boot willingly.

Russia’s🇷🇺 Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Zelensky’s outrage against the US-Russia diesel deal:

'Zelensky thinks the whole world owes him, and he doesn't owe anything in return.’

Zelensky’s regime is frightened of any reapproachment between the US & Russia because ultimately, if Zelensky doesn’t have support from the US, his regime is over…

Along with the gravy train of hundreds of billions of dollars which is being siphoned by Zelensky’s inner circle and Ukrainian oligarchs.

Zelensky is happy to maintain a forever war in which more territory is lost, many more thousands of Ukrainians die, so long as he remains in power and his allies continue their corrupt profiteering.

On this day in 1987, Burkina Faso’s🇧🇫 Marxist revolutionary Thomas Sankara was killed in a coup backed by NATO intelligence services. Here are his achievements in his short 4 years in power.

•Vaccinated 2.5 million children against meningitis, yellow fever and measles in a matter of weeks.

•Initiated a nation-wide literacy campaign, increasing the literacy rate from 13% in 1983 to 73% in 1987.

•Planted over 10 million trees to prevent desertification

• Built roads and a railway to tie the nation together, without foreign aid

•Appointed women to high governmental positions, encouraged them to work, recruited them into the military, and granted pregnancy leave during education.

•Outlawed female genital mutilation, forced marriages and polygamy in support of women’s rights

•Redistributed land from the feudal landlords and gave it directly to the peasants. Wheat production rose in three years from 1700 kg per hectare to 3800 kg per hectare, making the country food self-sufficient.

Increased education spending: Government education expenditure rose by 42% between 1983 and 1987.

Increased healthcare spending: Public health expenditure rose by 27% between 1983 and 1987, according to research by economist Emmanuel Harsch and other scholars.

Expanded rural healthcare: By January 1986, more than 7,460 primary health posts had reportedly been established across Burkina Faso, approximately one per village.

Expanded access to drinking water: The revolutionary government constructed 600 wells and 1,100 boreholes in 1986, alongside investment in small dams and irrigation.

Accelerated road construction: Burkina Faso reportedly built an average of 106 km of paved roads annually, compared with an average of 59 km annually during the preceding 23 years, an increase of approximately 80%.

Increased cereal production: Annual cereal production rose from approximately 1.12 million tonnes in 1983 to 1.64 million tonnes in 1987, an increase of roughly 46%.

He was assassinated in a coup led by Blaise Compaoré, a man who Sankara considered a brother before their relationship deteriorated.

Compaoré betrayed the revolution, and reversed the country’s revolutionary direction, putting the chains of foreign neocolonial dependence back on Burkina Faso.

With the arrival of Captain Ibrahim Traore to power, Burkina Faso once again has changed course back onto the revolutionary path.

‘The war on Iran could be Donald Trump’s downfall. It’s emblematic of an enormous STRATEGIC FAILURE, Iran has TREMENDOUS leverage.’

—John Perkins, Former Economic Hit Man

‘The war on Iran, I think, is emblematic of a terrible strategic failure on the part of Trump.

I was very involved in building the military bases along the Strait of Hormuz in Iran under the Shah.

The Shah’s petrodollars paid American corporations to go in and build these vast military bases in Bandar Abbas and elsewhere along the Strait of Hormuz…

We knew at that time, and for the next 50 years, the CIA, the Pentagon, presumably the White House, has known that whoever controls the Strait of Hormuz, controls global oil to a very large degree, and therefore global economies to a very large degree.

And it’s pretty obvious that when the Iranians took ownership of those military bases that we built so that America could control the Strait of Hormuz, when Iran has control of those and you go out and take out the Supreme Leader, why would you not realise that Iran is going to use the leverage that it has?

And it’s a mystery to me that this country made such an incredible strategic mistake. The only answer I can come up with, and I’m asked this a lot, is Trump was on a high, an adrenaline rush after his success in Venezuela.

And so he thought, “Well, I can do the same thing in Iran.”

What he didn’t take into account was that Venezuela didn’t have leverage. It doesn’t control the oil flow through the Caribbean, or the Panama Canal, or anything.

Iran has tremendous leverage by having that control over the Strait of Hormuz, control that we gave them by building those military bases for Iran.

So it’s a really deep strategic mistake, and it may be Trump’s downfall ultimately, because this war with Iran is certainly not popular in the US, and what’s going on throughout the entire world, including where you’re located, is having a huge impact.’

Prof. Hasan Ünal on Going Underground:

‘Iran has not only won the war, it is a STRATEGIC DEFEAT on the part of Israel and particularly the United States. Iran’s victory has contributed to the transforming of the world order.’

231 days into Trump’s war on Iran, the state of Washington’s power and position in the world is in utter shambles.

Once again, the most powerful, bloated, and expensive military in the world fails to defeat Iran a much smaller power, after embarrassing defeats in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Vietnam.

The US’ power projection in the Middle East has been greatly diminished, with many of its bases destroyed and turned into rubble, and Generals in Washington knowing that if they are rebuilt, Iran can target them just as easily again.

The global majority views the US as a dangerous rogue state that has pushed the global economy, let alone its own economy, to the breaking point with spiralling energy and fertiliser prices. Anti-American sentiment continues to rise in every house, and on every street, as families struggle with spiralling inflation.

Iran now has de facto control over the Strait of Hormuz and has proven it doesn’t need aircraft carriers or an expensive navy to use it as leverage, with Washington being powerless to stop its attacks on shipping.

A war that was promised to take a few weeks has ended up being a disastrous neocon quagmire, and an embarrassing defeat for the United States.

‘Donald Trump’s war on Iran has given Iran a lot MORE POWER than it had before, all of this plays into the hands of China🇨🇳.’

—John Perkins, Former Economic Hit Man

‘If you were looking at this in any sort of a rational way, and I'm not sure that Trump does look at things in a rational way, but if you were, you would see that the ultimate consequences of the attack on Iran are incredibly detrimental to the United States and to the global economy.

It gives Iran a lot more power than it had before all of this happened. And I'd also point out that all of this plays into the hands of China.

If you're Xi Jinping, you're sitting back there with a big grin on your face, like, "Oh, keep it up, Mr. President of the United States. Keep doing these dumb things, because China is staying out of the fray."’
