The Columbus Proud Boys, joined by several other Proud Boy chapters, community groups, and local citizens successfully prevented the Holi-Drag Storytime grooming event at the First Unitarian Universalist Church in Columbus.
This morning in a tear filled video streamed explanation, a representative of the “church” made the comment that the Proud Boys “would keep coming back”, if these events continue, and she’s right (based on the PD’s statement it’s looking like that’s about the only thing she got right in the whole stream… lulz). This is an excerpt from the unconditional surrender speech given today by the First Unitarian Universalist “Church” of Columbus. In announcing the cancellation of drag story time she blamed the police, the city, volunteer security personnel and of course, the Proud Boys. Not once did she acknowledge the groomers who are truly responsible for the Proud Boys showing up. If you don’t want Proud Boys outside of your drag event, don’t invite children.
