Trump to Italy’s Meloni:
"In the U.S., if you tell a woman she’s beautiful, your political career is over, but I’ll take my chances. You won’t be offended if I say you’re beautiful, right? Because you are."

IndiGo pretty much did all of this deliberately, bro. You can even call it a monopoly, considering they control almost 60% of India’s aviation market. Their revenue was ₹84,098 crore, and the FY 2024-25 Net profit was ₹7,258 well, you can imagine the scale. They already have enough dominance for the government to feel the pressure.
India anyway runs on
monopoly–duopoly–triopoly systems across many sectors:
Telecom: Airtel & Jio (duopoly controlling most of the sector)
E-commerce: Flipkart & Amazon India (semi-Indian duopoly)
Food Delivery: Zomato & Swiggy (tight duopoly)
Digital Payments: PhonePe, Paytm, Google Pay (triopoly)
Cab Services: Ola as the dominant Indian player in many regions
Even regulators themselves get influenced by dominant players.
DGCA (aviation regulator) often ends up shaping policies around the biggest airlines because they practically run the sector.
FSSAI, which should protect public health, is also heavily swayed by major food & FMCG companies.
FSSAI is a joke because it easily clears ultra-processed, palm-oil–loaded products even when they’re unhealthy, and enforcement is so weak that big brands tweak labels and still get approval.
Most “safe” tags come from paperwork, not real testing, that’s why unhealthy palm-oil junk keeps flooding the market.
TRAI in telecom works in a market practically dictated by Airtel and Jio.
CCI (Competition Commission of India) steps in only after dominance becomes too big to ignore.
And about the pilot situation — the new mandatory rest-rule came after the Air India crash. Pilots can only fly after fixed rest hours, and IndiGo smartly used this regulation too as a convenient shield to reduce operations and justify disruptions so that DGCI remove this rule and they did it, also if there was the shortage of pilots why did they sell tickets? DGCI will do nothing!
I know you guys wont read it but still posting.
