Following the US’s involvement in Israel’s conflict with Iran, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced plans to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow to strategize a response.

500% Tariff on all goods from countries that continue buying Russian oil, gas, coal, or uranium.

Targets Russia's income from energy exports by discouraging trade partners.

Applies secondary sanctions — punishes third-party countries, not just Russia.

Also includes a $150 million fund to stop Russian oil smuggling via "shadow fleet" tankers.



Goal:

To economically isolate Russia and force countries like India and China to stop trading Russian oil, or face crippling tariffs on their exports to the US
