На встрече Нина Беляева, декан Номадского, показала новую презентацию Университета, которая была недавно представлена в образовательном пространстве Аудитория - Тбилиси, на совместной презентации NomadUni и FLAS, с которым у нас заключен Меморандум о взаимодействии и уже вовсю идет сотрудничество: обмен преподавателями, выработка общих академических стандартов, взаимное участие в защитах выпускных работ, готовится и обмен студентами - все как у "больших" , "настоящих Университетов".
Мы были рады видеть на встрече выпускников прошлых наборов и совсем новых абитуриентов, которые с интересом знакомились с преподавателями курсов Летнего семестра 2025 , который пройдет со 2 июня по 9 июля, с выходом на защиты 13-14 июля и празднованием Выпускного - 15 июля.
Публикуем уточнённый перечень курсов Летнего Семестра, на которые уже можно записываться - прямо сейчас! Пройдя по интерактивному линку, попадаете в Программу курса, в конце программы кнопка "записаться".
Приемная кампания - очень интенсивная, запись на курсы продлится до 30 мая!

Надо кому-то написать о кафе "Диссидент", про его неповторимость, атмосферность, его крохотную команду, придуманные здесь блюда, про его создателя Игоря Безгалова и про то, как чудесно организованы все три этажа пространства "Диссидента". Это не сложно сделать, потому что есть рассказы Игоря об этом месте, устные пока, но книжка просится на волю и будет написана, уверен. И будут в ней главки про то, как это пространство стало своим для многих общественных проектов и людей и, в том числе, про Номадский университет, который сегодня поздравлял "Диссидент" с Днём рождения. У нас здесь было много событий, надеюсь, будут ещё, и с удовольствием ещё раз пожелаю "Диссиденту" многолетия и процветания!!!

In the face of the unprecedented attack of Trump Administration against the US Universities, Harvard been a symbol of them, and a point 👉 of most fierce attack, we the Global 🌎 Nomad 🤠 University, 🎓 join the global campaign of Harvard support by launching our oldest and most attended course "We, the citizens!" - in ENGLISH! - in parallel with Harvard course -with the same title! - that was just launched for all the US citizens, to address the dangers of authoritarianism and teach them the citizen's role in protecting Constitution.
The course "We, the citizens" was taught since the start of Nomad University, from April last year, was always most attended and produced the biggest number of defended Final Course Works so far.
In Summer semester of this year - from 2 June till 15 July - we decided to launch it in ENGLISH, to allow all the English speaking community in Batumi to join
- Georgian citizens, who developed a good 👍 tradition of learning European languages since country's independence
- recent relocants from the countries of the former USSR, who use English a lot for their work and travel
- English-speaking expats, whoes population here is fast ⏩ growing, even if Batumi is only temporary residence of their nomadic lifes.
We call 🤙 upon all of you! 😀

For the Summer Semester, 2025, from 2 June till 15 July, this course will be taught in English, in parallel with the similar course – holding the same title- at Harvard University, as a Nomad University contribution to the campaign of SOLIDARITY with Harvard University, resisting illegal attacks on freedom of education from current US Administration.
We, the citizens! Constitution and it’s people - How to settle in a new place without understanding local laws work and without learning how to exercise your legal rights?
Nomads often change countries. When choosing a country of residence, not only the climate, local cuisine and wireless Internet speed are important, but also the legal regime, the degree of compliance with laws and the ability to protect your rights. For this, it is useful to feel like a citizens and understand how local Constitution works.
Course Summary
You will learn to read the constitution of any state, understand the structure of state power in the country, comply with laws, and exercise civil rights.
Class Topics
1. Law: concept, essence, development of institutions. In whose interests does the law "work" ? The law of judges, the law of scientists, and the law of power. The Constitution: a legal way of organizing democracy.
2. Separation of powers in the system of checks and balances. Examples of different constitutions and political regimes. Constitutional design.
3. The judiciary in the system of separation of powers. The judicial system in Georgia. Judicial reform in the Russian Federation. Judicial system in the USA and its modern role.
4. Constitutional rights and freedoms: implementation and protection. Political freedoms - of speech, association assembly. Implementation of the right to freedom of assembly. Examples of the Russian Federation, Georgia, the USA.
5. Modern human rights protection at the local, national and international levels. International campaigns to protect rights in a particular country.
About the teacher
- Graduated with honors from the Law School of Moscow State University, defending diploma "The role of small parties in the two-party system of the USA"
-Defended PhD dissertation "Political activity of public associations in the USSR and its legal support".
-Created the Fund for Political and Legal Research "Interlegal", providing education in legal literacy, involving citizens in law-making work through civic legal expertise. Interlegal worked in RF, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, it joined permanent Commission on Education of the Council of Europe.
-Was a principal author of the draft of RF Law "On public associations",(adopted in 1995), "On political parties", "On charitable organizations"
- Created the Department of Public Policy at the Higher School of Economics, created International Master's "Political Analysis and Public Policy" with specialization in Human Rights and Democratic Governance
and Double Degree Master Program - with Bologna University.
-from 2000 to 2022, more than 600 students from 34 countries received diplomas of HSE Public Policy
-Google Scholar "Nina Belyaeva" keeps her best international publications
- in 2024 defended PhD thesis at the Law School of Torino University, Italy, "Legal Transplants and Policy Transfers in regulating Freedom of Assembly. Legal History of Russia from the 15th century to Bolotnaya events 2012"

А кричат они "с днём рождения " Номадскому университету и Летнему семестру, куда всех приглашаем присоединиться : как оперативно решил ПЕДСОВЕТ Номадского, - в Летнем семестре ВСЕ первые занятия по ВСЕМ курсам Летнего семестра - то есть всю эту неделю - будут проходить в формате ОТКРЫТОГО УРОКА!
