የሰላም መንጃ ተቸረኝ
አሮጌ ጣሳ ደፍቼ
ብጣሽ ጨርቅ ላይ ዘግቼ
የያዝኳትን የነፍሳት ነፍስ
ወደ ውጪ ለቀኳት
በነጻነት እንድትነፍስ
አለም ምድሯን እንድታስስ
ማንም ላይ ባልደርስም እንኳን
ድንገት ከተገኘሁኝ በማይገባኝ ድንኳን
ሩሄን እያሰነበትኩ ያለቦታዬ ብከሰት

አለሁኝ አትበይኝ
ቆፈን ሲገርፍሽ፣
ጠኔ ሲፈጅሽ፣
የነፃነት አየር አጥቢያ ምትናፍቂ፣
በዛሬ ውጥን
ኦና አልባ መንገድ ላይ የምትሳቀቂ፣
ታድያ ለምንድን ነው ?
ደህና ነኝ እያልሽኝ ወሬ የምትሰብቂ፣
መአልቱ ሌሊቱ
እንደ ሰጋር ፈረስ እየነጎደ፣
ጎህ ይቀዳል አትበይ
በፅልመት ተውጧል እየተራመደ።
ህመምሽ ህመሜ
በደሙ ጠበል እያጠመቀኝ፣
ምድር ቆቧን ሳ'ጥል
መለኮት በመጣ ቅኔውን እንዲቀኝ።
