Is this "worshiping" Lucifer?

Actually, it is, but "worship" literally means to hold in high regard- Anything you express admiration/ hold in high regard is a literal focus of worship. Attention is the most valuable commodity. Compartmentalizing the definition of worship, similar to definition of demon, and possession makes the public easily programmable, and easily possessed by the spirit of whatever you want.

People think they have free will, but generally can't control their own thoughts for 10 seconds if they tried. They don't discriminate between themselves and "the spirit of x,y,z.

So like in the Bible, "no gods before me", the Alpha&Omega, "God" is the entire range of LOGOS, the ultimate pattern of cause and effect.

Spirit of Lucifer as "false light" symbol is like narcissism. It loves the feeling of the "beginnings of things", the pure potential. Babies are also luciferic in that way. Mothers that resent when their children start forming their own ideas are also luciferic.
Essentially all divine law boils down to "What rises, also sets".
SET is the god of nightfall, where we get the word Satan, and why SATurn is the principality of restriction, or adversity, The Adversary.
"The devil" is the principality of division, literally. If you worship the morning to the exclusion of the evening, and vice versa, you are worshiping "the devil", the division of cause and effect.

These are basics that are supposed to be taught to children to orient them in the world and how we know every religious institution is lead by devil-worshippers.
Their job is to divide THE logos into a bunch of "trust me, bro, this happened once upon a time".
