🗞NFT exchange in the Metamorphoses collection: the Concept2048 multichain project team released the feature of exchanging their NFTs from TON Blockchain collection for new NFTs in Ethereum. Besides that, users of the new bot will receive extra bonuses.

Houston, we got new features again: Subscription to notifications. ✍

Keen observers might have already spotted a new mysterious Bell in the interface of each collection and NFT on our website. What’s it for?

You can now subscribe to the notifications you choose from the collection or an NFT of interest: If a new sale offer comes up in it, an auction begins, or an NFT is sold, you will be notified via the bell and our bot. Don't forget to link it to your Getgems profile in the Settings — it's very handy! 🏆

Notifications are highly customizable. You can pick the price range for which the notifications will be sent, as well as whether the item is being offered for sale at a price lower than the floor price.
NB: We have tried to think through the update to make it as comfortable for you as possible, so the notifications regarding the floor price will be sent if the price differs by 1% or more. It’s done so to avoid spam attacks in the Bell section and your DMs.

You can unsubscribe from notifications in the settings of the Bell; no commitment at all.

Since last week, CrypToadz retrodrop has been making a lot of noise on the NFT side of TON. The community had valid questions: Why is this happening and what is it all about? Is it really possible to just take someone else's art and mint it?

So we decided to get into details about the CC0 concept, also known as "No Rights Reserved" or "Creative Commons". In fact, the author intentionally has assigned no rights to the art, so that their work could be used anyhow and anywhere. ✏

The unique feature of the NFT and crypto worlds is the power of the community. When the community is strong enough, ideas and collections grow from within it. Usually it’s not even about cash, but for the sake of fun and the joy of co-creation. And the CC0 model is a common choice among such collections’ creators. 🧑‍🌾

Gee, since anyone can make NFTs from other people's images, then what is the difference from an old school CTRL+C/CTRL+V of a picture?
Good question, and here’s an answer:

☝️Firstly, the difference is that the collections are still on the blockchain, and you can always check the original source: whether it was the original CrypToadz collection on Ethereum or the twin brother launched on TON.

✌️Secondly, as the CC0 proponents say: the more copies there are, the more valuable the original. The Mona Lisa has not become cheaper because the copies of it are literally everywhere.

And, as we know, the market is who calls the shots: Will the secondary trading thrive or is it a one-day hype? The power is in the community. For a community driven by the same idea and charged with like-minded people, the sky's the limit. This theory is totally backed by the examples of Lost Dogs and New Year Eggs.
