Here are the results from the first day of the contest as of 12:00 pm UTC. Over 60 NTFs were entered in the Spooky Gems Museum to take part in the contest, and we’ve received hundreds of likes from the community! Let’s keep it going!
We’ve already answered some questions from the comments, but let’s go over a couple of important things once more:

An interesting project has entered the top collections on Getgems today: meridian.wtf. We looked at it and figured it would be cool to share it with the community because the project’s team is bringing something new to the table, which has not yet been done in NFTs on TON — a fully on-chain collection!
So, here’s what we know so far:
🎈 It’s a generative collection that is completely on-chain. All NFTs, including the pictures, are stored on the blockchain itself, and everything is managed by smart contracts.
🎈 No rarity for the NFTs — they are all equally rare.
🎈 Every day, one NFT gets minted and put up for a daily auction with an initial price of 1 TON and a step of 0.5 TON. No pre-sales, sales, and other shenanigans. As soon as one Meridian is sold, the next one gets minted.
🎈 50% of all sales go to a fund controlled by the DAO from the holders of these NFTs.
🎈 The DAO decides what will happen next to the project and how funds from the fund will be distributed.
The first NFT was put up for auction yesterday; it collected more than 40 bids and made sales of 3,000 TON! The second Meridian is being traded right now, and the DAO will start after the first 70 Meridian are minted.

It will be interesting to see what happens if the team supports NFTs on TON directly in the messenger. That would be an amazing way to stand out and customize your profiles (choosing the shape of your profile picture ain’t a joke!). And also how TON is actually easily integrated into the messenger ecosystem and demonstrates all of the blockchain’s capabilities.

On the eve of the New Year holidays, TON Community and Opulous are hosting a special competition in which we at Getgems are also involved in! So, what’s going on?
Opulous is a blockchain project that revolutionizes the modern music distribution game and allows musicians to earn money from their compositions with the help of crypto. They literally made a new “MFT” format for music-based collectibles!
🎈 Participants need to create an original piece of New Year-themed art (either a static picture or photo) that fits with the upcoming holiday theme. It could be anything from an ordinary New Year photo out of an old family album to a specially made image with TON symbols (this type of piece may have some competitive advantages!).
🎈 Next, you need to send the photo to this chat. We recommend you leave a small caption on the picture such as a comment, wish, or congratulations.
The winner will be selected by a special panel, and the winning piece will be minted on Getgems for auction with the first bid equivalent to $1,000. All participants will have a chance to win royalties from a special Christmas MFT released by the Star.One band, as well as one of 50 unique NFT art pieces from the same team. The 50 winners will be selected randomly.

All profiles now have the ability to filter the NFTs they own according to specific collections. The filtering options are ordered according to size, from largest to smallest. The more NFTs you have from a collection, the higher it will appear in the filter list. You can easily check and uncheck filter boxes to see how many NFTs from each collection you own.
