The work on the first draft of the Soulbound NFT Standard is complete! A quick reminder: SBT is a special kind of NFT where a user can only hold one, and it cannot be transferred to anyone else. This solution was initiated as a part of the second grant we announced a while ago. ⚒

Huge thanks to @xssnik for their work on the smart contract and on the standard proposal.
And a shoutout to TON Punks for doubling the grant’s budget, #community_power 💪

As a result of this grant, the developers came up with
📍a draft of the standard,
📍reference implementation of contracts.

Now all developers are invited to a public discussion of this draft before sending it to the TON Foundation for approval.

This is a new spin on technology development and its possibilities for mass adoption. We can’t wait to see how the community reacts to this and starts utilizing this solution in its products. Once the TON Foundation approves the new standard, of course, it will be available on Getgems as well.

We’ve noticed that questions about the unfair use of the Soulbound NFT have already appeared, and we want to immediately explore the details. 💻

Soulbound Tokens (SBT) can be transferred from one address to another, provided that both addresses belong to the same owner. This is done so that when migrating to new versions of wallets, you can transfer your NFTs with you to a new address.

In this case, they can be transferred under two conditions:

1. The owner has the keys to this SBT (usually the same key as the wallet).
2. The owner can send a message from the wallet they want to transfer their SBT.

In regular NFTs, the current owner sends a message and can transfer the NFT to anyone. But when using SBT, the message is sent not by the current owner but by the new owner in order to prove that they have the keys.

Also, we’re anticipating questions about “spam” with such NFTs, and the solution for that is the fact that SBTs can be burned. At the same time, in the future, the one who issued the token will also have the opportunity to burn NFTs.

Example: Some platform (Netflix/Telegram/Youtube etc.) can issue SBT certificates giving access to premium subscriptions, which are valid for three months. As long as you own the token, you have a premium Telegram subscription. After three months, the platform will be able to burn the SBT token, thus ending your subscription access. 🔥

Today we're releasing another important update about our NFT-bot and the ability to send NFTs straight into the chats and dialogs.

We fixed the way NFTs that are on the auction displayed there, before the auction NFTs had “Not for sale” tag, but now all is sorted and you can actually track all necessary details about the auction process.

In the featured section on the main page, we will highlight the news from Getgems and the NFT community on TON, interesting NFTs, new collection launches, and instructions for beginners. At the moment, we do not accept applications for being placed in the featured section, as we ourselves are figuring out how we will work with this format.

Regarding the top collections section, everything is easy. We calculate the collections’ sales volume within different periods: one, seven and thirty days. And then we display them in order, starting with those where the volume is the highest. Please note that in the 1-day ranking view we show sales from yesterday.

In the coming days, we will add all-time data and a separate table with a large number of collections and data in it. 💾

“...imagine how successful Telegram with its 700 million users could be if we put reserved @ usernames, group and channel links for auction. Today, we are adding even more information about collections: You can now see the rating of all the collections!💎

If the top collection of the day, week, or month is limited to the 15 best-selling collections only, the full rating of all collections works without this limitation and displays all the collections minted on TON. This removes all questions about the principle by which the main page of the marketplace is formed and how the collections are sorted on it. Basically, the more a collection sells, the higher it is ranked.

Another feature release for today is sorting by the Most Liked NFTs of a collection!❤️

The idea is simple: You asked for it, and now sorting by the number of likes on the NFTs per collection has become available, from the highest to lowest. Therefore, it’s fast and easy to find the most liked NFT from an entire collection or see top liked NFTs by other users.

By the way, since the moment we rolled out the “Like” feature, you’ve used it over 50,000 times! Love it!🥰

We are excited to announce our third grant: the NFT swap contract 🏆

The idea is simple: We want to give TON NFT holders the ability to swap NFTs directly, securely, and without the extra steps of buying and selling. It’s an awesome mechanic that will allow us to expand the ways NFT collectors interact with one another.

From a tech standpoint, it’s an exciting task to solve several unorthodox problems — e.g., figuring out the distribution of marketplace fees between participants of the transaction and ensuring the safety of NFT transfers.

Our team is looking for a developer or team to create a smart contract to find the solution for an NFT swap contract, and we’re issuing a 1,000-TON grant for that.
