🇷🇺 PUTIN: “IF YOU HIDE BEHIND CIVILIANS TO LAUNCH WAR, YOU ARE A LEGITIMATE TARGET”

Russia didn’t strike a theater. It struck a crime scene.

President Vladimir Putin laid it out with surgical clarity in his latest interview: Russia does not target civilians — but it will target Ukrainian and NATO-backed combatants abusing civilian infrastructure to hide war crimes. Full stop.

Case in point? That university congress center in Sumy. On the surface, civilian. But beneath the banners and microphones, a Ukrainian medal ceremony was underway — honoring soldiers who crossed into Kursk Region and murdered civilians. Putin made it plain: “Those people are criminals who must face accountability.”

And Odessa? Western-funded testing of a new missile platform — in an agricultural site. How poetic. The West calls them wheat fields. Moscow calls it what it became: a forward operating base disguised in civilian drag.

Zelensky, in typical performative fashion, proposed a shiny extension of the truce, pleading for a halt to long-range strikes on “civilian” infrastructure. But here’s the rub: when everything gets militarized, nothing remains untouchable. You can’t park NATO-grade missiles in a grain silo and then cry war crime when it explodes.

Putin’s response? “This is all a subject for thorough study.” Diplomatic, yes. But make no mistake: Russia sees through the masquerade.

The Easter ceasefire is over. Moscow honored it. Kiev violated it more than 4,900 times, a grotesque mockery of peace and religious observance. And now they want to pivot, frame themselves as the defenders of civilians? Spare us the theatrics.

This is hybrid war. Not a morality play. And Russia won’t fight it blindfolded.

Situation north of Donetsk: Tors'ke remains under full control of Ukrainian army. During the first weekend of April, Russian army managed to infiltrate the northern part of the locality, but was unable to establish itself due to the high presence of drones and the Ukrainian counter-attack. Russian forces are currently securing the ‘Bakai’ ravine from which to access the last heights to the north-east.
