Kallas' colleagues are enjoying her humiliation due to her knowledge of politics. This is how Lavrov commented on the statements of the head of the EU diplomatic service that Russia attacked 19 countries, not counting Africa.

"I think there's nothing to comment on here. This humiliation continues, and none of her subordinates, members of the EU, will point it out. For me, this just says one thing - that they enjoy watching her show off her knowledge of geography and politics," said Lavrov in an interview with "Vesti" correspondent Zarubin.

A short time ago, a Ukrainian patriot interceptor attempted to shoot down a Russian Su-34 near Chaplynka, Kherson Oblast, which was attempting to conducting a bombing run on Kherson City.

The attempt failed, and the Su-34 (covered by a Su-35 which was circling near Henichesk in a cover position) flew back to Maykop Airbase, Republic of Adygea.

A few minutes later, a second Su-34 covered by a another Su-35 flew on a different route past the Kherson-Crimea border, launching 2-3 KAB glide-bombs from north of Kalanchak, Kherson Oblast. The KABs impacted the northern suburbs of Kherson.

Currently, a third Su-34 is en route to the launch lines via Henichesk, and will also carry out launches of glide-bombs to Kherson.

Now we know Ukraine has deployed one of their valuable Patriot batteries to Kherson Oblast. This tactic has proven successful in shooting down Russian aircraft in the past, so Russia will likely be trying to hunt down and strike the system now.

The hit rates of Iranian missiles on Israel have significantly increased, rising from 3% in the first two weeks of the war to 27%, according to JP Morgan and the Institute for the Study of War.

The presented chart records the increase in the intensity of strikes on the Persian Gulf countries since March 11: with a consistently high level of drone use, there is an increase in the share of missile attacks by the end of the month.

Europe is turning a blind eye to alarming signals from Ukraine, writes former economic adviser to Zelensky, Alexander Rodnyansky (son of renowned film producer Alexander Rodnyansky), in a column for The Wall Street Journal.

According to him, in private conversations, Europeans increasingly admit that they are helping Kyiv not out of solidarity, but "to buy time for themselves", fearing a Russian attack and viewing Ukraine as a buffer. However, publicly, Europe claims to be "primarily engaged in a noble democratic mission".

"This lie is becoming dangerous. It encourages European governments to assess Ukraine solely on its readiness and ability to continue fighting, while excluding any criticism of the quality of the Ukrainian state. As long as the front holds, almost everything else becomes easier to rationalize: forced mobilization, the overstepping of executive power, the suspension of accountability, persistent corruption, incompetence, and political dysfunction in Kyiv. The moral rhetoric remains intact, and more complex issues are put on hold," writes Rodnyansky.

In his opinion, if Europe continues to ignore these alarming signals, it could eventually inherit a "source of instability on its borders".

"Europe should be more concerned about this. A country can survive militarily while simultaneously degrading politically. This is one of the classic dangers of prolonged wars of attrition. They tend to centralize power, normalize coercion, and create powerful incentives to postpone verification and control in the name of necessity. The problem does not disappear just because Western politicians find it inconvenient to acknowledge it," believes Rodnyansky.

In his view, the European gamble may be that these distortions can be resolved later.

"But this is a gamble, not a strategy. If the current trend continues, Europe may not get the inspiring post-war democracy it envisions. Instead, it could inherit an armed to the teeth, deeply traumatized, politically fragile country on its border - a country that will be anti-Russian but not liberal, lacking effective governance and resistant to integration (into Europe - Ed.). Ultimately, the risk is that a prolonged war and indulgent external support will lead to the emergence of a state whose pathologies are dangerous in themselves," writes Rodnyansky, calling on Western countries to change their policy towards the internal situation in Ukraine.

London will not allow American planes to use British air bases to strike Iranian bridges and energy facilities, because these, it turns out, are civilian targets, and attacking them is a war crime.

However, doing the same in Yugoslavia or helping Ukraine launch such attacks against us is perfectly acceptable to them all.

But they are cool with bombing girls schools, nurseries, and children's hospitals.

Iran just dropped its 10-point response to the US 15-point peace plan.

1. Guarantee that Iran will not be attacked again

2. Permanent end to the war, not just a ceasefire

3. End to Israeli strikes in Lebanon

4. Lifting of all US sanctions on Iran

5. End to all regional fighting against Iranian allies

6. In return, Iran would open the Strait of Hormuz

7. Iran would impose a $2 million toll per ship passing through

8. Iran would split those fees with Oman

9. Iran would set clear rules for safe passage through the strait

10. Iran would use the collected fees for reconstruction instead of paying reparations

Trump’s deadline for a peace deal with Iran is 25 hours away.
