⚡️British Soldiers Preparing For War Against Russia
The UK’s top ‘other ranks’ soldier has said that British troops must be ready to fight Russia, and should prepare their families for the prospect of an “extended” deployment.
His advice comes after the UK’s new head of General Staff said that British forces must become capable of “defeating Russia in battle.”
Writing for the latest issue of the British Army’s ‘Soldier’ magazine, Carney said that “the Army is shaping itself to meet the threat from Russia,” and “will be ready, with the right equipment, to play our part in deterring a future war in Europe.”

⚡️US & South Korea Launch Major War Games
Washington and Seoul opened their largest joint military exercises in years on Monday, dubbed the Ulchi Freedom Shield drills, scheduled to continue to September 1st.
The first stage of the drills will be focused on repelling a hypothetical North Korean attack, as well as civil defense response to various simulated threats.
Last month, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un called the joint drills “thug-like behavior” and threatened to “wipe out” Seoul if the ROK makes any “dangerous attempt” against the North.

⚡️President Donald Trump asked a judge Monday to order the appointment of a special master to oversee the handling of the documents seized in the search of his Mar-a-Lago estate two weeks ago.
The court filing also asks the judge to require the Justice Department to return materials not covered by the scope of the search warrant, which Trump's team refers to as "overbroad." The filing also calls the Justice Department's decision to search the estate in Palm Beach, Florida, on Aug. 8 a "shockingly aggressive move."
The federal magistrate judge who signed off on the search reiterated earlier Monday that there was "probable cause that evidence of multiple federal crimes would be found" at the estate and doubled down on his decision to authorize the search.
“Having carefully reviewed the Affidavit before signing the Warrant, I was — and am — satisfied that the facts sworn by the affiant are reliable,” wrote Judge Bruce Reinhart of the Southern District of Florida.

Germany Rules Out Nuclear To Save Gas
Economy Minister Robert Habeck said Sunday Germany should not keep nuclear power plants running to ensure the power supply, as their capacity is insufficient to make up for natural gas shortages.
“It is the wrong decision given the little we would save,” Habeck said at a meeting.
Berlin is deciding whether to extend the lifespan of the country’s three operating nuclear power plants to make up for the rapidly dwindling natural gas supplies from Russia.
Note: Who recalls President Trump warning the German delegation at the UN about this happening?

⚡️British Airways Axes THOUSANDS of Flights Causing ‘Stratospheric’ Price Rises
Over 10,000 flights - mainly to European destinations - will be cancelled until spring by BA, which experts say will have a “stratospheric” effect on ticket costs.
Staff shortages are rocking the beleaguered airline after it laid off 10,000 workers citing the economic cost during the Covid-19 pandemic.
