Defense export boom: India's shipbuilding behemoth Inks pact with Bangladesh for advanced tug
🇮🇳 🇧🇩 India's state-run Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE) announced that it will supply an advanced tug with specific features to overcome the harsh ocean waters of the Bay of Bengal, to the Bangladesh Navy.
The tug will be constructed at the Kolkata-based firm at a cost of $21 million. This is the second such deal signed by the GRSE and the Bangladesh Navy in a week.

▪️The 16th edition of Joint Military Exercise Nomadic Elephant between Indian army and Mongolian army will be conducted in Umroi, Meghalaya from 03 July to 16 July.
▪️The exercise aims to enhance interoperability between both Armies in conducting semi conventional operations in semi urban and mountainous terrains under the UN mandate.
