Final call: Invitation to GB headquarters for GBDays
When: in two weeks. Mid-June '24
Where: Prague, Czech Republic
Dear clients and users of GENERAL BYTES products,
We are organizing an event called GBDays for our customers in mid-June. It will be especially useful for technical representatives, but it is of interest to business reps.
We will provide training on creating extensions for your Bitcoin ATMs, individual meetings with GB departments, office tours, showcases of our newest products and features, and more.
It goes without saying that we will experience the joy of Prague's summer together at the afterparty. As a bonus β you can combine all this with attending the biggest and most influential Bitcoin conference in EuropeβBTC Prague.
β οΈ If you are interested in such an opportunity, please email ASAP the event's project manager at marketing@generalbytes.com. In the body of the letter, please attach the legal name of the company / brand name of the ATM network, your name and position, and some serial numbers of the ATMs that are currently operating (online). Make sure your license fees are paid. This way, we can determine whether you are an eligible client. We will provide full details about the event in our response letter.
Please be aware that the event is in high demand and almost fully booked. We have the right to refuse participation to those who respond later. However, even if you are unable to attend GBDays, you can still benefit from the BTC Prague conference. By using our discount code GENERALBYTES, you will receive a 10% price reduction.
Sincerely yours,
GENERAL BYTES team

Dear Operators,
U.S. Department of the Treasury recently slightly changed the format of their sanctions list that is being automatically downloaded from department's server by your CAS.
Introduced change breaks the parsing functionality of the watchlist causing the watchlist not being updated on your server.
Server releases 20240201.38 and 20240301.42 address this issue.
We recommend you to upgrade to one of these versions to keep your US sanction list up to date.

Important information - CAS upgrade needed.
GB CAS software uses 3rd party software library bitcoinj version 0.16.1.
This library contains a software bug that prevents CAS from downloading Bitcoin blocks higher than 849,138(mined yesterday)
As a result of this bug CAS software shuts down automatically after one hour when blocks are not being downloaded from bitcoin network after master service start.
CAS software is not the only product affected by this issue. (i.e. Bisq, Android Bitcoin wallet...)
More details about the library issue can be found here:
https://github.com/bitcoinj/bitcoinj/issues/3410
Mentioned issue is fixed in following CAS versions by including newer version of bitcoinj library 0.16.3:
20240301.45
