أخبرنا أبو عبد الله الحافظ قال:
سمعت أبا جعفر محمد بن أحمد بن سعيد يقول: سمعت العباس بن حمزة يقول: سمعت أحمد بن حنبل يقول: «الدنيا دار عمل والآخرة دار جزاء، فمن لم يعمل هنا ندم هناك
Ahmad ibn Hanbal رحمه الله said:
"This world is a place for actions, and the Hereafter is a place for rewards. Whoever does not act here will regret it there."

Shaykh Rabee said: “The point is that when you read the books of the Salaf, you will find that they do not equate these matters. If we hate the people of innovation, such as the Sufis and others—who are many groups—and the Ash’aris and others, we do not hate them like we hate the Jews and Christians. Love, like faith, increases and decreases, and it varies in the people. Likewise, hatred varies: there is a level of hatred for the Jews, a different level for the Christians, and another level for the people of innovation.
If the disbelievers among the Jews and Christians transgress against groups such as the Ash’aris and Sufis, we defend them and assist them in confronting these enemies, despite our dislike for them, and though they dislike us even more intensely.

Umm ʿAbd Allāh al-Wādiʿīyah said:
“Lying to a child opens the door to widespread evil, as the child will learn this trait; leading them to lie in their speech and break their promises.”

I went to a function where I saw one of the attendees persistently eating dates and drinking coffee, so I asked him: (why is it) I see you constantly eating dates and drinking coffee? He replied: are you aware that my father lived until he was 105 years old? So I enquired: was your father addicted to drinking coffee and eating dates? He replied: No, he -may Allāh have mercy on him- never used to get involved in other people's business.

The advice of Sheikh Ibn Baz رحمه الله to the students of knowledge
Sh. Ibn ʿUthaymeen Raḥimahullāh said:
“Being friendly and merciful towards children is from the causes of ENTERING Jannah and ESCAPING the Hellfire.”

*Hadith 24: Prohibition of injustice*
Abu Dharr reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
Allah Almighty said: O My servants, I have forbidden injustice for Myself and I have forbidden it among you, so do not oppress one another.
O My servants, all of you are astray except for those I have guided, so seek guidance from Me and I will guide you.
O My servants, all of you are hungry except for those I have fed, so seek food from Me and I will feed you.
O My servants, all of you are naked except for those I have clothed, so seek clothing from Me and I will clothe you.
O My servants, you sin by night and day and I forgive all sins, so seek forgiveness from Me and I will forgive you.
O My servants, you will not be able to bring harm to Me and you will not be able to bring benefit to Me.
O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you, to be as pious as the most pious heart of anyone of you, that would not increase My dominion at all.
O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you, to be as wicked as the most wicked heart of anyone of you, that would not decrease My dominion at all.
O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you, to rise up in one place and make a request of Me, and were I to give everyone what he requested, that would not diminish what I have any more than a needle would diminish the sea if put into it.
O My servants, it is only your deeds that I record for you and then recompense for you. Let he who finds good praise Allah, and let he who finds something else blame no one but himself.
