Just like water leaves from the gaps between fingers,
You will never be able to get a grip of water.
Likewise is your life, you will never be able to keep it
And it will pass by and reach the end!
If it doesn't end today it will end tomorrow, if it doesn't end this year it will end after years!

Imaam Ibn Al-Qayyim (Allāh have mercy on him) said:
“Stand firm against evil thoughts, for if you fail to do so, they will become ideas, if you do not, they will become desires, so fight against them. If you do not, they will become a form of determination and intention, if you do not resist, they will become actions, and if you do not follow them up with their opposite, they will become habits that will be hard to quit.”
— [Reported in Al-Fawaa’Id pg. 54]

Uthman ibn Affan reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.”

Blame yourself.
Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah: When you see the servant talking about the people when they’ve hurt him whilst he doesn’t return the blame back to himself and seek forgiveness (from Allaah), then know that his calamity is a true calamity.
However when he repents, seeks forgiveness and says “this is due to my sins” then this matter (of being hurt by people) will become a blessing for him!

Ibn Al-Qayyim (رحمه الله) said,
The stomach is a curved organ that looks like a gourd and consists of three layers of delicate and neural components called fibres and surrounded by flesh. The fibres of one layer are arranged longitudinally, while the second layer’s fibres are horizontal and the third slanting. The tip of the stomach has more nerves, while the bottom has more flesh and its interior is coated and fuzzy. The stomach is located in the middle of the abdomen, leaning more to the right side, created in this shape by the wisdom of the All-Wise Creator.

Sh. Ibn al-‘Uthaymeen Raḥimahullāh said: “We should supplicate that Allāh brings people of falsehood back to the truth so that they can benefit themselves and others, THIS IS JUSTICE, in opposition to what some ignorant ones do, when they see a person persisting upon falsehood, they supplicate against him.”

"Iran, the deviant state, is more misguided than the Jews and the Christians. It has been an agent from ancient history until our present day. All the confrontations are lies upon lies, all aimed at misleading the Muslims. They pretend enmity towards the Jews to establish this party of Shaytan called Hezbollah."

Seek Forgiveness at All Times, Especially as You Become Older or Encounter Ill Health
Regarding seeking forgiveness, Shaykh Fawzan in explanation of the final verse of soorah an-Nasr said,
“It is better to complete ones lifespan with seeking and supplicating for forgiveness, because people, whether they are upon righteousness, uprightness and performance of righteous actions; then indeed they still have shortcomings regarding the right of Allah, so they should seek forgiveness. Subsequently it takes precedence and is obligatory for the sinful servant to seek and supplicate for forgiveness from Allah.
There is great virtue in seeking forgiveness and seeking of forgiveness is legislated to be done when completing righteous actions; when your life is approaching its end; when getting up from a gathering(Sunan at-Tirmidhi 3433, Authenticated by Shaykh al-Albaani) and when completing the prayer.
On the authority of Thawbaan (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: When he had finished his prayer, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to ask for forgiveness three times and say: “Allaahumma anta al-salaam wa minka al-salaam, tabaarakta yaa dhaa’l-jalaali wa’l-ikraam (O Allaah, You are al-Salaam (the One Who is free from all defects and deficiencies) and from You is all peace, blessed are You, Possessor of Majesty and Honour).” [Sahih Muslim 135]
Likewise he completes his life with asking for forgiveness, just (as he does at the end of each obligatory prayer) because seeking of forgiveness is sought after (at then end of an action, or one’s life).
