I mentioned bad about someone in the presence of Iiyaas ibn Muawiyah, so he looked at my face and said:
"Have you invaded Rome?"
I said: "No."
He said: "What about Sinnad (Around Pakistan), India and Turkey?"
I said: "No."
He said: "So Rome, Sinnad, India and Turkey are safe from you but your Muslim brother is not?!"
He said (Sufyaan): I never repeated it after that day."

📌 A simple breath…
Ibn al-Dunya mentioned that the Prophet Dawud (alayhi salam) asked
Allāh:
"What is the least of your blessings?.”
Allāh revealed to him,
"O Dawud, take a breath."
Dawud did so, and Allāh told him:
"That is the least of My Blessings on
you.”

Taqwa & Good Character
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله:
“The Prophet ﷺ established a relationship between the fear of Allāh and good character, because fearing Allāh improves the relation between the servant and Allāh, and good character improves the relation between a person and others. Therefore, fearing Allāh makes it possible for Allāh to love him, and good manners makes it possible for people to love that person.”

Say to one who hopes for eternity in this life: "You, may God grant you wellbeing, do not hear!
For death has stood atop a pulpit of advice And warned you of its occurrence.
Yet you paid no heed—it will not bypass you Except briefly, suddenly felling you."

Woman of Dreams
"Whoever marries a woman that wears the niqab and gloves, and does not watch TV, and aligns herself with the people of truth, and does not go to the hammam (public baths; pools, saunas), and does not complain too much, has obtained the woman of dreams."
