Smile

A pleasant smile causes people to become happy, wins over their love and affection, and leads to both parties having good thoughts of each other. Just try it and you will see!

However, were you to frown upon the people, they would stay away from you and not feel comfortable sitting with you or talking to you.
You may even become afflicted with a dangerous condition: high blood pressure. Having a tranquil chest and a pleasant smile is the most wholesome remedy and best preventative measure for this condition.

For this reason, physicians advise people who have this condition to stay away from what disturbs and angers them, since those things only agitate this condition. A pleasant smile actually has a remedial effect on this condition, since it leads to a tranquil chest, and it cause others to love you.

They executed our brother Marcellus. May Allah have mercy on him and grant him Paradise.

One thing he said was: “I say what the Prophet ﷺ would say when he disliked something: ‘All praise belongs to Allah in all situations!’”

Justice will be established for him and all the creation on the Day we stand before Allah.

A man came to 'Umar b. al-Khaṭṭāb رضي الله عنه to complain about his wife's ill-temper.

While he was waiting for 'Umar to come out of his house, he heard 'Umar's wife scolding him and 'Umar quietly listening to her, and not answering her back.

The man turned around and started walking away, muttering to himself, "If that is the case with 'Umar, the leader of believers, who is famous for his uprightness and toughness, then what about poor me?!"

At that moment, 'Umar came out of his house and saw the man walking away.

He called him and said: "What is it you want of me, O man?"

The man replied: "O' leader of the believers, I came to complain to you about my wife's bad- temper and how she nags me. Then I heard your wife doing the same to you, so I turned around, muttering to my self, "If that is the situation of the leader of the believers, then what about me?"

'Umar replied: "O my brother, I bear with her because of her rights over me. She cooks my food, bakes my bread, washes my clothes, breastfeeds my child... And yet none of these are her duty; and then she is a comfort to my heart and keeps me away from forbidden deeds. Consequently, I beat with her."

The man said: "It is the same with me, O' leader of the believers."

'Umar said: "Then, O' my brother, be patient with her, indeed this life is short."
