The Day of Nahr (Slaughter), ‘Eid Al-Adhā (Sacrifice) and the Three Days of Tashreeq

The day of Nahr is the greatest day of the year.

Allah’s Messenger (salallāhu ‘alaihi wasallam) said:

أعظم الأيام عند الله يوم النحر، ثم يوم القَرِّ

“Indeed the best or the greatest day with Allāh is the Day of Sacrifice, then the day of rest.”

(Abu Dawūd and An-Nasā’ī, graded saheeh by Al-Albani)
In a narration, he said: “This is the greatest day of Hajj (yawn Al-Hajj Al-Akbar)”

(Abu Dawūd, graded saheeh by Al-Albāni)
It is the Day of ‘Eid just as the Prophet (salallāhu ‘alaihi wasallam) said:

إِنَّ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ وَيَوْمَ النَّحْرِ وَأَيَّامَ التَّشْرِيقِ عِيدُنَا أَهْلَ الإِسْلاَمِ وَهِيَ أَيَّامُ أَكْلٍ وَشُرْبٍ

“The day of Arafat, the day of sacrifice and the days of Tashriq are our ‘Eid, O people of Islam, and they are days of eating and drinking and the remembrance (dhikr) of Allah.”

(Muslim, Abu Dawūd, An-Nasā’ī, Ahmad and declared saheeh by Al-Albāni, Saheeh Al-Jāmi’, no. 2689)

It is reported by Ibn Abi Shaybah and Al-Hākim that,

“’Ali (radiyallāhu ‘anhu) would make the takbīrs after Fajr on the day of ‘Arafah until ‘Asr on the last day of Tashreeq and he would make it after ‘Asr also [on that day].”

(See Al-Irwā, no. 653-654)
It is legislated for the men to raise their voices with Allah’s remembrance. As for the woman then she raises her voice to the extent that she can hear herself and those surrounding her ― such that it is a low voice different to the men. The following is from the Takbeers recited by the Sahābah:

الله أكبر الله أكبر لا إله إلا الله

Allāhu akbar, Allāhu akbar, lā ilāha illallāh

Allāhu akbar, Allāhu akbar, walillāhil-hamd

Or one may increase the takbīr (الله أكبر) in the first line to three Takbīrs.

The takbīrāt are not be made in unison as we hear on loudspeakers and in some mosques. Shaikh ‘Abdul-‘Azīz Ibn Bāz (rahimahullāh) stated: “As for the recital of the Takbīr in unison then it is not legislated in the Sharī’ah―it is an innovation (بدعة)―their recitation in a united voice is an innovation, not legislated in the religion.”

*The superiority of the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah*

Al-Imām ibn Baaz (rahimahullah) said:

The sins that people engage in the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah are much worse than the sins people engage in the month of Rajab, Sha'bān, or any other days. And the punishment given for the sins is greater."

As these are virtuous and honorable days, the rewards for the virtuous acts performed during these days are greater and similarly, the evilness of the sins engaged in these days will also be greater.

[al-Fatawa | 3/389]
*Which is better, first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah or last ten days of Ramadān?*

Shaykhul Islām ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullah) was asked:

Which is more superior, the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah or the last ten days of Ramadān?

He answered,

"The first ten DAYS of Dhul-Hijjah are more superior than the ten days of Ramadān, but the last ten NIGHTS of Ramadān are better than the nights of Dhul-Hijjah."

[Majmū' al-Fatawā, vol.25, pg.287]
Shaykh Ibn Bāz رحمه الله said: “So the day of ‘Arafah is a great day. There is not a day in this world where Allāh Emancipates (persons) from the fire like the day of ‘Arafah. So it is necessary to make a lot du’ā and exert one’s self in making du’ā and frequently (saying) ‘Lā Ilāha ill-Allāh since it is a du’ā.”

Shaykh Muḥammad Ibn Ṣāliḥ al-‘Uthaymīn رحمه الله said: “So what is correct is that fasting on the day of ‘Arafah for the pilgrim is disliked. As for the one who is not performing Ḥajj then it (i.e. Fasting) is highly recommended.

The wisdom behind why it is disliked for the pilgrim to fast on this day is as the shaykh said: “This day is the day of du’ā and actions, and the best time to make du’ā is the latter part of the day. So if an individual were to fast, the end of the day would approach and he will be lazy and tired.”

I am unable to translate this correctly but for the brothers and sisters in need of it:

‼️ With the spread of cuckolding and the lack of jealousy in this reality, as well as the websites, I remembered a word by Sheikh Raslān to the back!: “Would you be happy for your woman to be the subject of young men’s dreams at night until they require washing..!!?” ‼️

"The ten days of Dhu'l hijjah are a season of good and mercy;

so let's strive to do that which Allah loves

so it may be that we win with His Mercy.

{Surely, Allah's Mercy is (ever) near unto the good-doers.}

A’ishah رضى الله عنها “There is no day of the year that I love to fast more than the day of ‘arafah."

[Sahih, Ibn al-Ja’d 512].
'Abdullah ibn 'Amr said:

"If only you knew, you'd pray until your back broke and cry until you lost your voice."

Lowering the Gaze:

It is reported that Salmān Al-Farsi said,

"I would rather die and be resurrected, die and be resurrected, and again die and be resurrected than to see the private part of a Muslim's body or for a Muslim to see mine."

[Imām Ahmad, Al-Zuhd p192]

What do you really want?

Isa عليه السلام said to the disciples:

Truly I say to you, you desire neither this world nor the next.

They said: Prophet of Allāh, explain this matter to us, for we used to think that we desired one of them.

He said: If you desired this world, you would have obeyed the Lord of the world, who holds the keys of its treasures in His hands.

Had you desired the other world, you would've obeyed the Lord who owns it, and He would've given it to you.

But you want neither this one nor the other!
