What can Allaah do for me?

• He forgives sins.
• Eases worries.
• Relieves distress.
• Helps the defeated person back on his feet.
• Makes the poor rich.
• Guides the one who is astray and confused.
• Fulfils the needs of the desperate.
• Feeds the hungry.
• Clothes the naked.
• Conceals faults.
• Calms fears.

The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

"Our Rabb, the Blessed, the Superior, comes every night down on the nearest Heaven to us when the last third of the night remains, saying:

"Is there anyone to invoke Me, so that I may respond to invocation?

Is there anyone to ask Me, so that I may grant him his request?

Is there anyone seeking My forgiveness, so that I may forgive him?"

Bukhari
It was said to ‘Āmir ibn ‘Abdillāh:

“Ask forgiveness for me!”

So he said: “Indeed you are asking one who is helpless himself. However, obey Allāh and then call upon Him, then he will respond to you!

[Hilyatul Awliyā: 2/92]
Shaykh Ibn Bāz رحمه الله:

“The person who offers Salah only in Ramadan or on Fridays is a kaafir.”

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:

“There is no honor for one's soul except with submission (to Allāh),
no glory except with subservience (to Allāh), no comfort except with weariness (for the sake of Allāh), no satiation except with hunger (for the sake of Allāh i.e. fasting), no security except with fear (of Allāh), no pleasure except with feeling alienated from everything but its Creator, and no life except with death.”

[al-Fawā’id | Pg. 106]
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:

“There is no more glorious objective than having the knowledge of Allāh, His love and company, longing for His meeting and enjoying the sweetness of mentioning His name. This is also the most glorious kind of happiness in the world and the Hereafter; and it is the goal that is sought in its own right.

When the servant leaves this world for the Hereafter, only then does he understands true and perfect happiness. Yet, in the world he cannot reach perfect happiness due to hindrances and tribulations he meets.”

[The Way to Patience & Gratitude | Pg. 190-191]
Al-Imām Ibn al-Qayyim ‎رحمـه الله wrote :

Corruption of religion occurs through either

a) believing falsehood and speaking with it, which is disputing, or
b) acting in opposition to truth and what is correct, and this is taking enjoyment with one’s portion [of the world].

The first are the innovations, and the second is following the [worldly] desire.

These two are the foundation of every evil, tribulation and trial.

Through these two the messengers were disbelieved in, the Lord was disobeyed, Hellfire was entered into, and punishments befell.

The first is from the angle of doubts (الشبهات), and the second is from the angle of desires (الشهوات).

For this reason, the Salaf say: “Beware of two types among the people: A person of desire [meaning, innovation] put to trial by his desire [in religious affairs] and a person of the world whose worldly portion has amazed him [leading him to neglect and disobedience].”

I’lām al-Muwaqqi’īn [2/255].

Translated by Abū Īyād.
ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ رَبُّ ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ ۩‏ ٢٦

˹He is˺ Allah! There is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him, the Lord of the Mighty Throne.”

"So as you treat others you shall be treated, so do as you want, for indeed Allah will deal with you in the same manner as you treat His servants."

[Saheeh Al-Waabil as-Sayyib. Daar Ibn al-Jawzee, 2nd edition, p.63]

And We have commanded people to ˹honour˺ their parents. Their mothers bore them through hardship upon hardship, and their weaning takes two years. So be grateful to Me and your parents. To Me is the final return.
