Muhammad al-Quraẓī

“Do not befriend those whose regard for you is only based on their need for you; for when their need for you ceases, so will their affection for you.”

See: Ibn ʿAsākir, A. (1995) Tārīkh Dimashq, ed. ʿU. al-ʿAmrawī, Beirut: Dār al-Fikr, vol. 55, p. 148.

“If they fall in sin or wrong their souls, they remember Allaah and ask forgiveness for their sins.”

Anas b. Malik: When this verse was revealed, Iblis cried.

“By Allah if it was said to the people of the graves hope for something; indeed they would hope for a day of Ramadan.”

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Whoever established prayers on the night of Qadr out of sincere faith and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his previous sins will be forgiven; and whoever fasts in the month of Ramadan out of sincere faith, and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his previous sins will be forgiven.”

[Sahih al-Bukhari 1901]

Know—may Allah have mercy upon you—that from the greatest of actions in this blessed month is the recitation of the Noble Qur’an. So strive, my beloved brother and sister, to complete the recitation of the Qur’an more than once in this blessed month. Do not settle for the bare minimum; rather, let your aspirations and determination be high, reaching for the heights of devotion in worshipping Allah.

And know that indeed, everything connected to the Qur’an is honoured and elevated.

Jibril was sent down with the Qur’an, and thus he became the best of angels.
The Qur’an was revealed to Muhammad ﷺ, and thus he became the leader of all creation.
The Qur’an came to the Ummah of Muhammad ﷺ, and thus they became the best of nations.
The Qur’an was revealed in the month of Ramadan, and thus it became the best of months.
The Qur’an was sent down on Laylatul Qadr, and thus it became better than a thousand months.

So reflect, dear servant of Allah: if the Qur’an enters your heart, if you recite it day and night in this blessed and noble month of Ramadan, what transformation will it bring to your soul? What heights will it raise you to in nearness to Allah?

Anas bin Malik narrated:

"Umm Sulaym came to the Prophet and said, 'Teach me some words I can say in my Salah.' He replied, 'Say Allahu Akbar ten times, SubhanAllah ten times, and Alhamdulillah ten times. Then ask for whatever you like, and Allah will say: Yes. Yes."
(Jami' at-Tirmidhi 481 - Sahih)

Isnad Hasan, al-Nasai (1299) put it under the chapter of "Zikr after tashahhud" i.e before salam

Muḥammad ʿAlī ʾĀdam al-ʾIt͟hyūbī (رحمه الله) said:

“Today, minds have drowned in materialistic thoughts and become captives of desires. They do not see beyond material things, and they do not consider something beneficial unless it manifests in the form of money, food, drink, clothing, shelter, and pleasures. Therefore, they do not see any benefit in pure acts of worship, and they do not feel that the greatest benefit on earth is to strengthen the relationship between the servant and his Rabb, to establish a strong connection with Him, to repent and humble oneself before Allāh, to break the desires seeking His Pleasure, to taste the sweetness of intimate supplication, and to draw closer to Him.”

[S͟harḥ Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim (vol. 33 pg. 311)]
