An Early Paradise: A Heart Attached to Allah
⭐“Truly there is a paradise in this world. Whoever does not enter it, will not enter the Paradise of the hereafter.”Ibn Taymiyyah (raḥimahullāh)
♦️The ‘paradise in this world’ refers to the heart that is filled with bliss, contentment and pleasure. This state is only possible when the heart becomes deeply acquainted with Allah (ʿazza wa jall), loves Him, turns to Him and relies on Him alone. It attains contentment by remembering Him, being alone with Him and attaining closeness to Him. It yearns to meet Him and its greatest desire is to see Him.
Ibn Rajab (raḥimahullāh) wrote: “There is an ‘early paradise’ in the world. It is to know Allah, to love Him, find comfort in Him, long to meet Him, fear Him and obey Him. Beneficial knowledge leads one to attain this. Whoever’s knowledge leads him to enter this 'early paradise', will enter Paradise in the next world. And whoever does not sniff the fragrance of the 'worldly paradise', will not sniff the fragrance of the Paradise of the hereafter.”
Mālik b. Dīnār (raḥimahullāh) lamented, “The people of the world left the world without having experienced its greatest delight.” When he was asked, “What is its greatest delight?”, he replied, “The maʿrifah (knowledge) of Allah (ʿazza wa jall).”
It is these actions of the heart that will bring you true joy. Once you are blessed with them, you will realise that no other blessing can compare. You will experience the ‘sweetness’ of worship, and your heart will overflow with happiness and contentment. You will carry this wherever you go and it will fortify you against whatever you encounter.
⭐“If the servant was to gain every fortune of the world, its pleasures and desires, but he did not attain the love of Allah, longing for Him and being in His company – then it is as though he did not attain any (real) joy, happiness and bliss.” - Ibn al-Qayyim (raḥimahullāh)
♦️A life in which your heart is attached to Allah (ʿazza wa jall) is truly special. A saint of Allah said, “There are times when I say: if the people of Paradise have anything like this, then how blissful must their lives be!”
Another stated, “There are times when the heart bursts in joy (out of the love for Allah).”
After quoting the above, Ibn al-Qayyim (raḥimahullāh) writes, “Glorified is the One who lets His slaves witness His Paradise well before they meet Him, who opens its doors to them in this world of deeds; and who gives them some of its joy, its breeze and its perfume, so that they may seek it and hasten towards it with all their strength.”
⭐“Truly in the heart there is a certain loneliness that cannot be removed except by spending time with Him in solitude. In it there is a sadness that cannot be removed except through the happiness of knowing Him and being true to Him … In it there is a void that cannot be filled except through loving Him, turning to Him constantly, always remembering Him, and being sincere to Him. Were a person to be given the entire world and everything in it, it would never fill this void.” - Ibn al-Qayyim (raḥimahullāh)

⚜️🤎 Send lots of Salawat upon the Prophet 🤎⚜️
Sending ṣalāwat upon the Prophet ﷺ on Friday is better than on the rest of the days, and its night (Thursday night) is the best of nights.
He ﷺ said, “Among the best of your days is Friday, so frequently send ṣalāh upon me therein.”

💕 How Allah is the Most Forgiving, Oft-Forgiving 💕
In the last week’s post we read about the verses that emphasise that Allah is ever-forgiving and merciful, inviting even the greatest sinners, including polytheists and transgressors, to seek His forgiveness. It reassures that no sin is beyond Allah’s mercy if one sincerely repents, reaffirming that Allah forgives all sins without exception, provided the person renounces wrongdoing and turns to Him.
Allah forgives whom He pleases. Allah makes it clear that His forgiveness is determined by his will.
Allah does not forgive that partners be associated with Him, but He forgives other than that for whomever he pleases. (4: 48)
This is with respect to those who believe in Allah and adhere to His guidance. If they perpetrate a sin or transgress ion, whether great or small, Allah has decreed that He can forgive that sin if He pleases or punish its perpetrator as He pleases.
To be continued, In'shaa'Allah ... ✍🏻

💕 How is Allah Most Forgiving, Oft Forgiving 💕
In the last week's post we read about - Allah's forgiveness is based on His will. He does not forgive the act of associating partners with Him but may forgive other sins for whomever He pleases. For believers who follow His guidance, if they commit sins, whether big or small, Allah has the authority to forgive them or punish them as He wills.
It is affirmed in the Sunnah that Allah calls forth during the last third of the night, saying:
Is there anyone beseeching me, so I can give? Are any seeking my forgiveness, so I can forgive them? Are there any penitent people for me to pardon? Is anyone calling to me so I can answer? (Sahih al-Bukhari (1145) and Sahih Muslim (758))
This is an example of Allah’s generosity and boundless favor. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) relates that Allah says:
O child of Adam! However much you beseech Me and place your hopes in Me, I will forgive you without any reservation. O child of Adam! If you have sins piling up to the clouds and then ask My forgiveness, I will forgive you without any reservation. O child of Adam! If you come to me with enough mistakes to fill the Earth, and meet Me without associating anything as a partner with Me, I will come to you with enough forgiveness to fill the Earth. (Sahih Muslim (2687))
Allah refers to Himself as the Oft-Forgiving because He created us knowing that our natures would make us prone to sin, and that we would seek His forgiveness and He would forgive us.

Akhawāt in a world driven by social media, it's easy to feel overwhelmed by images and lifestyles that seem far from our reality. We’re constantly pushed to compare ourselves to the highlight reels of others, which can leave us feeling insecure and inadequate. But our worth isn’t measured by followers, likes, or trends—it’s in our relationship with Allah and how we strive to uphold modesty, faith, and sincerity. Social media can blur that focus, making us doubt ourselves and our choices.
Remember, true beauty and value come from living in line with our Deen, not the fleeting standards of the dunya. By focusing on our blessings and turning to Allah in gratitude, we can protect ourselves from the insecurities and doubts that social media often triggers. Contentment and self-worth come from living for the Akhirah, not chasing the fleeting illusions of this dunya. Let’s protect our hearts, stay rooted in what truly matters, and embrace the peace that comes from accepting Allah’s plan for us.
