⚜️🤎 Send lots of Salawat upon the Prophet 🤎⚜️

Sending ṣalāwat upon the Prophet ﷺ on Friday is better than on the rest of the days, and its night (Thursday night) is the best of nights.

He ﷺ said, “Among the best of your days is Friday, so frequently send ṣalāh upon me therein.”

💕 How Allah is the Most Forgiving, Oft-Forgiving 💕

In the last week's post we read that

1. Christians claim that Allah is part of a trinity, but in the following verse, Allah invites them to seek forgiveness, emphasizing His mercy and readiness to forgive (5:74).

2. Allah warns of severe punishment for those who persecute believing men and women unless they repent, stating they will face the torment of Hell and burning (85:10).

As for those who turn to Allah in sincere repentance, Allah will turn to them in forgiveness. Allah calls all the polytheists, sinners, and transgressors to seek His forgiveness and declares to them that the doors to His mercy are wide open:

O My servants who have transgressed against their souls! Do not despair of Allah’s mercy, for Allah forgives all sins. He is Forgiving, Most Merciful. (39: 53)

This verse affirms for us that Allah forgives all sins, without exception. Allah is willing to forgive even polytheism and unbelief, as long as the perpetrator renounces such falsehoods and sincerely repents.

To be continued, In'shaa'Allah ... ✍🏻

*"Why are our Du’ā's not answered? 💔*

It was said to Ibrāḥim b. Adhām: “What is wrong with us that we supplicate and we receive no answer?”

Ibrāḥim said: “It is because:

✦ You know Allāh and you do not obey Him.

✦ You know the Messenger and you do not follow his Sunnah.

✦ You know the Qur`ān and you do not act according to it.

✦ You eat from the blessings of Allāh and you are not thankful for it.

✦ You know Paradise and you do not seek it.

✦ You know Hellfire and you do not flee from it.

✦ You know Iblīs and you do not fight him but rather you agree with him.

✦ You know death and you do not prepare for it.

✦ You bury the dead and you do not learn from it.

✦ You ignore your own faults and you are concerned with the faults of others ”

[تفسير القرطبي ٢:١٨٦]
Tafsir al-Qurtubi (2:186)

May Allah guide us to reflect on our actions and strengthen our faith! ❤️

Du'a acceptance conditions:

1. Sincerity (ikhlas)
2. Obedience to Allah
3. Following the Prophet's Sunnah
4. Gratitude
5. Repentance
6. Right intention

Remember:

"The supplication of a servant will continue to be answered as long as he does not supplicate for something sinful or for the severing of family ties." (Tirmidhi)

May our Du'as be accepted! Amen! 🤲

السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ🪻💜

Sometimes the things we keep hidden in our hearts weigh the heaviest. As humans, we may struggle with burdens we don't share, but know that Allaah سبحانه وتعالیٰ is always aware of our innermost thoughts and feelings. It is through His guidance and compassion that we find the strength to heal. Trust in His plans, and seek Allaah's help through patience and prayer.

﴿يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلَاةِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ﴾
"
O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allaah is with the patient."
(al Baqarah: 153)

May Allaah سبحانه وتعالیٰ grant us all the strength to overcome our silent struggles, may He ease our pains, heal our hearts, and guide us to the right path, amiin ya Rabb.

An Early Paradise: A Heart Attached to Allah

“Truly there is a paradise in this world. Whoever does not enter it, will not enter the Paradise of the hereafter.”Ibn Taymiyyah (raḥimahullāh)

♦️The ‘paradise in this world’ refers to the heart that is filled with bliss, contentment and pleasure. This state is only possible when the heart becomes deeply acquainted with Allah (ʿazza wa jall), loves Him, turns to Him and relies on Him alone. It attains contentment by remembering Him, being alone with Him and attaining closeness to Him. It yearns to meet Him and its greatest desire is to see Him.

Ibn Rajab (raḥimahullāh) wrote: “There is an ‘early paradise’ in the world. It is to know Allah, to love Him, find comfort in Him, long to meet Him, fear Him and obey Him. Beneficial knowledge leads one to attain this. Whoever’s knowledge leads him to enter this 'early paradise', will enter Paradise in the next world. And whoever does not sniff the fragrance of the 'worldly paradise', will not sniff the fragrance of the Paradise of the hereafter.”

Mālik b. Dīnār (raḥimahullāh) lamented, “The people of the world left the world without having experienced its greatest delight.” When he was asked, “What is its greatest delight?”, he replied, “The maʿrifah (knowledge) of Allah (ʿazza wa jall).”

It is these actions of the heart that will bring you true joy. Once you are blessed with them, you will realise that no other blessing can compare. You will experience the ‘sweetness’ of worship, and your heart will overflow with happiness and contentment. You will carry this wherever you go and it will fortify you against whatever you encounter.

“If the servant was to gain every fortune of the world, its pleasures and desires, but he did not attain the love of Allah, longing for Him and being in His company – then it is as though he did not attain any (real) joy, happiness and bliss.” - Ibn al-Qayyim (raḥimahullāh)

♦️A life in which your heart is attached to Allah (ʿazza wa jall) is truly special. A saint of Allah said, “There are times when I say: if the people of Paradise have anything like this, then how blissful must their lives be!”

Another stated, “There are times when the heart bursts in joy (out of the love for Allah).”

After quoting the above, Ibn al-Qayyim (raḥimahullāh) writes, “Glorified is the One who lets His slaves witness His Paradise well before they meet Him, who opens its doors to them in this world of deeds; and who gives them some of its joy, its breeze and its perfume, so that they may seek it and hasten towards it with all their strength.”

“Truly in the heart there is a certain loneliness that cannot be removed except by spending time with Him in solitude. In it there is a sadness that cannot be removed except through the happiness of knowing Him and being true to Him … In it there is a void that cannot be filled except through loving Him, turning to Him constantly, always remembering Him, and being sincere to Him. Were a person to be given the entire world and everything in it, it would never fill this void.” - Ibn al-Qayyim (raḥimahullāh)

💕 How Allah is the Most Forgiving, Oft-Forgiving 💕

In the last week’s post we read about the verses that emphasise that Allah is ever-forgiving and merciful, inviting even the greatest sinners, including polytheists and transgressors, to seek His forgiveness. It reassures that no sin is beyond Allah’s mercy if one sincerely repents, reaffirming that Allah forgives all sins without exception, provided the person renounces wrongdoing and turns to Him.

Allah forgives whom He pleases. Allah makes it clear that His forgiveness is determined by his will.

Allah does not forgive that partners be associated with Him, but He forgives other than that for whomever he pleases. (4: 48)

This is with respect to those who believe in Allah and adhere to His guidance. If they perpetrate a sin or transgress ion, whether great or small, Allah has decreed that He can forgive that sin if He pleases or punish its perpetrator as He pleases.
