When asked, "Will MetaMask issue its own token?", Bill Hughes responded that CEO Joseph Lubin firmly believes in the paradigm of decentralization. He emphasized that a large project like MetaMask should be community-governed rather than remaining owned by ConsenSys. However, the timeline and specific details are still undetermined.
