It’s very interesting to see what decision will be made, as on one hand, it’s hard to believe they will approve it right away without any delays, but on the other hand, we see a political battle in the US for the so-called "crypto electorate," and the current authorities need additional ratings from this matter.
Yesterday's law on dividing responsibilities between the SEC and the CFTC and classifying cryptocurrencies is further proof of this.

Even if it’s not approved today, I don’t think it will dump Ethereum, because the ETF approval is 99% certain, it’s just a matter of time.

🙁 Ethereum ETF Approval?

On the morning of the 24th, news broke about the listing approval of the Ethereum ETF. Right before that, Ethereum's exchange rate fell by almost 9% in the moment, but immediately started to recover.

Here's what happened:
1) Out of two documents, only the 19b-4 was approved, while the S-1 is still pending.
2) The 19b-4 allows for listing on the exchange, but the product itself is not yet available. The S-1 document initiates the process of creating the actual product.

Grayscale already has the ETHE trust, putting them in a better position to release assets. They've also filed for an 'Ethereum Mini ETF' to increase accessibility for retail investors.

The approval process was delegated to the SEC's 'Trading and Markets Division', which reduces the chance of political disputes but can be overturned within 10 days if someone objects.

The main question: is this good or bad news?
It seems full approval is still ahead, but the market is already reacting.
