People often suggest a book of my tweeted thoughts twinned with some of my pictures. Curating my old tweets is my idea of pure hell, so it’s unlikely to ever happen. Coffee table book also not really my thing. I do the art for fun on the day, not because I want to create art products. I struggle to find motivation to even sell prints. (The management process is miserable. ) Once I have enough to live on I am pretty much done...

I don’t know why, but the whole crypto and blockchain space leaves me colder than an open air swimming pool in Moscow in January. I guess I am not ever going back to tech. Holds no interest for its own sake. There is very little in my life that troubles me where the answer is “more tech”. Why do I need a smart contract to learn to cook better or draw well?

If the world lasts long enough for me to get a decent printer and make my own art prints then I will probably close down my “print on demand” store. I don’t like not seeing the end product or having control over its rendering and quality. Prefer to sell small runs of signed work at higher prices. Will experiment. If I can manage a single decent-selling book that isn’t immediately banned then I don’t have to sell art at all, or can just license images via NFTs and let others deal with production, marketing, and distribution.

Art Store Fronts have a big program to help you sell more art and a playbook to market for all those buying occasions (Valentines, Mothers Day, Black Friday, etc). I ignore it all. Feels yukky and doesn’t align at all to who I am and how I relate to my work or its buyers. Would rather sell a fraction as much and keep it very simple and clean.

This Great Awakening process feels like an endless struggle to find the happy medium between two extremes of “save the world” and “leave the world”. Both seek to annul the present and have it be “over” in some way. The hard thing is to stay in the now as-is.

I haven’t owned a car for 13 years. Probably never will again. I walk everywhere, use public transport, rent or borrow a car on rare occasions when needed. I look aghast at the cost of acquiring and running one in London. The madness you need to put up with to earn the money to ruin your freedom to walk around... Crazy! Am finding a stripped down life easier to manage. Would never ever get a “job” again in the pursuit of such manufactured objects. Unthinkable.

The path I was on — private school, elite university, corporate exec — came with a particular concept of “doing well”. You became “someone”... a professor, senior civil servant, Olympic winner, law firm partner, CEO. My “doing well” is getting to wear a hoodie every day and hang out with frens. I have a vague dread of being dragged back to that world for the good of all. “Would you sit on the national committee for...?” — and my little heart sinks. I just don’t fit in with *anything* institutional, and every attempt has ended badly. When this geopolitical horror show is over all I want is a tiny bit of economic security and zero hassle or stress. I will still work hard because that’s who I am, but my “success” isn’t measured in mansions or management grade. The only place where “me just being me” has taken real root is on social media. Can give people clarity, beauty, and encouragement without having to compromise.

Putting all my work out for free and saying “if this gives you the tingles the tip jar is here” works really well, except for the deplatforming bit. The thousands of hours I put into building a Twitter audience was taken away without any due process. I have only been able to endure it because a bunch of people stumped up to furnish my place and keep me going. This is a real war, and the nonstop economic sabotage has a real human cost. In a way I hope Twitter collapses. Have my old account ever get reenabled would put me in an invidious position. My heart is not in it, and I can only do my magic when it is.

I just realised that all the “get the vax but don’t ever show us your face” texts I have had from my GP mean the healthcare relationship is over. I have no desire to be part of the National Health Service or to fund it any more. I can never trust them with anything. A complete reboot is required with a fundamentally recontacted relationship.

There is a peculiar tragedy to those moments when someone believes that you care what they think — when in fact you DGAF. Don’t you agree?

We were deplatformed from PayPal years before the recent Conservative onslaught. No complaints from customers. PayPal came out and said we dont like ur politics. Buhbye.
Then came the rest.

The most recent deplatforming came 4 days before the 2020 election when we tried to warn America thru a music video that Sniffy is a grifter and his son Hunter is the bagman for the crime family.

We posted it on our Facebook page and with in 10 minutes YouTube blew out the entire account with tens of thousands of views per videos. We had ZERO strikes. YouTube made our channel inaccessible after that like we never existed.

So I hear ya brother. Keep up the good fight. We win.

I don’t seek to see people suffer, but the scamdemic ought to see a lot of people and institutions sued into oblivion. I guess it won’t happen that way as the courts, even if cleaned up, would take centuries to process it all.
