Торжественный прием собрал высокопоставленных гостей, среди которых присутствовали заместитель министра обороны Ганы Эрнест Брогья Генфи, выступивший в качестве старшего гостя, министр специальных инициатив Ганы Эммануэль Агуеком, член парламента Айзек Аджей Менса, а также послы и старшие офицеры вооруженных сил Ганы. Staff members of the Partner Russian House of the Center for Public Diplomacy in Ghana attended an engaging quiz game organized by activists from the University of Ghana Russian Studies Students Association (UGRUSSA). The event took place at the University of Ghana campus and brought together enthusiasts of the Russian language and culture.

During the intellectual competition, participants were divided into three teams named after Russian cities: "Yaroslavl," "Moscow," and "Belgorod." Players selected categories and answered questions in Russian, demonstrating not only their knowledge of grammar and vocabulary but also their understanding of Russian cultural specifics.

The event was held in a friendly atmosphere, contributing to the further strengthening of ties between the Partner Russian House of the Center for Public Diplomacy and the Ghanaian student community, as well as fostering interest among Ghanaian youth in learning the Russian language and culture.

В партнерских Русских домах Центра народной дипломатии в Буркина-Фасо, Гане, Гвинее, Нигере и Мали прошла онлайн-лекция в рамках исторического цикла просветительского проекта «Открывая Россию», реализуемого совместно с Государственным музеем-заповедником «Остафьево — Русский Парнас». О личности и эпохе российского императора слушателям рассказала кандидат исторических наук, старший научный сотрудник музея Татьяна Егерева.

Лекция была посвящена ключевым этапам правления Александр I — его реформаторским инициативам, сложной внешнеполитической обстановке начала XIX века и роли России в европейской политике. Особое внимание было уделено событиям Отечественная война 1812 года, противостоянию с армией Наполеона Бонапарта и последующим дипломатическим процессам. Также слушатели узнали о личности императора, его взглядах, политических решениях и связи с его великой бабушкой, Екатериной II.

Просветительский цикл «Открывая Россию» знакомит зарубежную аудиторию с историей, культурой и выдающимися личностями России и продолжает серию международных образовательных мероприятий Центра народной дипломатии.

🇷🇺 Alexander I and the Era of Great Victories: a new lecture of the “Discovering Russia” project

An online lecture was held at the Russian Houses of the Center for Public Diplomacy in Burkina Faso, Ghana, Guinea, Niger, and Mali as part of the historical cycle of the educational project “Discovering Russia.” The project is implemented in cooperation with the Ostafyevo – Russian Parnassus State Museum-Reserve. The lecture on the personality and historical era of the Russian emperor was delivered by Tatiana Egereva, PhD in History and Senior Research Fellow at the museum.

The lecture focused on the key stages of the reign of Alexander I — his reform initiatives, the complex international environment of the early 19th century, and Russia’s role in European politics. Special attention was given to the events of the Patriotic War of 1812, the confrontation with the army of Napoleon Bonaparte, and the diplomatic processes that followed. Participants also learned more about the emperor’s personality, his political views and decisions, as well as his connection with his grandmother, Catherine II.

The educational series “Discovering Russia” introduces international audiences to the history, culture, and prominent figures of Russia and continues the Center for Public Diplomacy’s program of international educational initiatives.

Une conférence en ligne s’est tenue dans les Maisons russes du Centre de diplomatie publique au Burkina Faso, au Ghana, en Guinée, au Niger et au Mali dans le cadre du cycle historique du projet éducatif « Découvrir la Russie », réalisé en coopération avec le Musée-réserve d’État Ostafyevo – Parnasse russe. La conférence consacrée à la personnalité et à l’époque de l’empereur russe a été présentée par Tatiana Egereva, candidate en sciences historiques et chercheuse principale du musée.

La conférence a porté sur les principales étapes du règne de Alexander I — ses initiatives réformatrices, la situation internationale complexe du début du XIXᵉ siècle et le rôle de la Russie dans la politique européenne. Une attention particulière a été accordée aux événements de la Patriotic War of 1812, à la confrontation avec l’armée de Napoleon Bonaparte ainsi qu’aux processus diplomatiques qui ont suivi. Les participants ont également découvert la personnalité de l’empereur, ses idées politiques et ses décisions, ainsi que son lien avec son illustre arrière-grand-mère, Catherine II.

Le cycle éducatif « Découvrir la Russie » présente au public international l’histoire, la culture et les grandes figures de la Russie et poursuit la série d’initiatives éducatives internationales du Centre de diplomatie publique.
