🇷🇺 «Екатерина Великая: как императрица изменила Россию» — лекция в партнерских Русских домах в Африке

В партнерских Русских домах Центра народной дипломатии в Буркина-Фасо, Гане, Гвинее, Мали и Нигере состоялась онлайн-лекция, посвященная личности и эпохе Екатерины II. Мероприятие прошло в рамках исторического цикла проекта «Открывая Россию», подготовленного совместно с Государственным музеем-заповедником Остафьево-Русский Парнас.

Лекцию провела кандидат исторических наук, старший научный сотрудник Государственного музея-заповедника Остафьево Татьяна Егерева. Участники познакомились с ключевыми реформами императрицы, ее вкладом в развитие системы государственного управления, просвещения и укрепление международных позиций России. Особое внимание было уделено тому, что Екатерина II — одна из немногих женщин-правителей XVIII века, сумевшая не только удержать власть в сложной политической среде, но и провести масштабные преобразования, оказавшие долгосрочное влияние на развитие страны.

🇷🇺 “Catherine the Great: How the Empress Transformed Russia” — Lecture at Partner Russian Houses in Africa

An online lecture dedicated to the personality and era of Catherine II was held at the partner Russian Houses of the Center for Public Diplomacy in Burkina Faso, Ghana, Guinea, Mali, and Niger. The event took place within the historical lecture series “Discovering Russia,” prepared in cooperation with the Ostafyevo – Russian Parnassus State Museum-Reserve.

The lecture was delivered by Tatiana Egereva, Candidate of Historical Sciences and Senior Research Fellow at the Ostafyevo State Museum-Reserve. Participants learned about the Empress’s key reforms, her contribution to the development of public administration, education, and the strengthening of Russia’s international position. Special attention was given to the fact that Catherine II was one of the few female rulers of the 18th century who not only maintained power in a complex political environment but also implemented large-scale reforms that had a long-term impact on the country’s development.

🇷🇺 « Catherine la Grande : comment l’impératrice a transformé la Russie » — conférence dans les Maisons Russes partenaires en Afrique

Une conférence en ligne consacrée à la personnalité et à l’époque de Catherine II s’est tenue dans les Maisons Russes partenaires du Centre de Diplomatie Publique au Burkina Faso, au Ghana, en Guinée, au Mali et au Niger. L’événement s’inscrivait dans le cycle historique du projet « Découvrir la Russie », préparé en coopération avec le Musée-réserve d’État Ostafyevo – Parnasse Russe.

La conférence a été donnée par Tatiana Egereva, candidate ès sciences historiques et chercheuse principale au Musée-réserve d’État Ostafyevo. Les participants ont découvert les principales réformes de l’impératrice, sa contribution au développement du système d’administration publique, de l’éducation et au renforcement de la position internationale de la Russie. Une attention particulière a été accordée au fait que Catherine II fut l’une des rares femmes souveraines du XVIIIᵉ siècle, ayant su non seulement conserver le pouvoir dans un contexte politique complexe, mais aussi mener des transformations d’envergure ayant eu un impact durable sur le développement du pays.

🤩 Партнерский Русский дом Центра Народной Дипломатии (ЦНД) провел встречу с представителями Ассоциации студентов-русистов Университета Ганы.

В ходе содержательной беседы стороны обсудили дальнейшие векторы сотрудничества, наметили график совместных мероприятий и новых проектов по изучению и продвижению русского языка и культуры в рамках сотрудничества Русского дома и Департамента русского языка Университета Ганы. Особый интерес у студентов вызвал офис Русского Дома, где для них организовали экскурсию и рассказали о российской атрибутике.

Гости познакомились с географией и декоративно-прикладным искусством России, узнали больше о традициях и культуре нашей страны. Вдохновленные встречей, студенты поделились своими планами по изучению русского языка и желанием развивать профессиональные и творческие связи с Россией.

Партнерский Русский дом продолжает создавать «живые мосты» дружбы между народами, формируя устойчивый интерес к русскому языку и культуре среди иностранцев.

〰️ Representatives of the Association of Russian Studies Students Visits Partner Russian House in Ghana

🤩 The partner Russian House of the Centre for Public Diplomacy (CPD) held a meeting with representatives of the Association of Russian Studies Students at the University of Ghana.

During a substantive conversation, both sides discussed further areas of cooperation and outlined a schedule of joint events and new projects aimed at promoting the study of the Russian language and culture within the framework of collaboration between the Russian House and the Department of Russian at the University of Ghana.

Students showed particular interest in the Russian House office, where a tour introducing Russian cultural symbols and attributes was organised. The guests learned about Russia’s geography and decorative arts, and gained deeper insight into the country’s traditions and culture.

Inspired by the meeting, the students shared their plans for studying Russian and expressed a strong desire to develop professional and creative ties with Russia.

The partner Russian House continues to build living bridges of friendship between nations, fostering lasting interest in the Russian language and culture among international audiences.

Партнерский Русский дом ЦНД в Гане запустил подготовительный курс русского языка

🤩 Партнерский Русский дом Центра Народной Дипломатии (ЦНД) в Гане запустил онлайн подготовительный образовательный курс русского языка для ганских студентов, получивших стипендии на обучение в российских университетах.

Курс разработан с целью всесторонней подготовки стипендиатов к погружению в новую языковую и культурную среду. Программа ориентирована на успешную адаптацию студентов к предстоящим академическим и бытовым условиям в России. В рамках обучения особое внимание уделяется не только изучению русского языка, но и знакомству с культурой, традициями и особенностями межкультурной коммуникации, что позволит будущим студентам чувствовать себя уверенно на начальном этапе обучения.

Занятия проводятся в дистанционном и очном формате в офисе, что обеспечивает равный доступ к образовательным ресурсам для абитуриентов из всех регионов Ганы. Подготовительный курс продлится вплоть до отправки студентов в российские вузы и призван заложить прочный фундамент для их дальнейшей академической успеваемости и комфортной интеграции в российское общество.

🤩 The partner Russian House in Ghana of the Center for Public Diplomacy (CPD) has launched an online preparatory educational course in the Russian language for Ghanaian students who have been awarded scholarships to study at universities in the Russian Federation.

The course is designed with the aim of comprehensively preparing scholarship holders for immersion in a new linguistic and cultural environment. The program is focused on the successful adaptation of students to the upcoming academic and everyday conditions in Russia. Within the framework of the training, special attention is paid not only to learning the Russian language but also to familiarization with the culture, traditions, and nuances of intercultural communication, which will allow future students to feel confident at the initial stage of their studies.

Classes are conducted in a distance and in-person format at the office, ensuring equal access to educational resources for applicants from all regions of Ghana. The preparatory course will last until the students depart for Russian universities and is designed to lay a solid foundation for their further academic success and comfortable integration into Russian society.

Партнерский Русский дом Центра народной дипломатии в Гане провел празднование Масленицы для учащихся комплекса E-mort School. Мероприятие было направлено на знакомство школьников с богатыми культурными традициями России через кулинарное наследие и народные обычаи.

В ходе праздника ученики продемонстрировали базовые знания русского языка, которые они осваивают в рамках образовательной программы. С лекцией об истории и традициях Масленицы выступила Наталья Басалова, преподаватель Ярославского государственного педагогического университета имени К.Д. Ушинского. Она рассказала о символизме праздника, знаменующего проводы зимы и встречу весны, и объяснила ключевые обычаи масленичной недели: печь и есть блины всю неделю, ходить в гости к родственникам и друзьям и сжигать чучело как символ уходящих холодов.

🇷🇺 Сотрудники Русского дома вместе с преподавателем русского языка Эверловинг Овусуа Апентенг испекли для гостей традиционные блины с разнообразными начинками.

Праздник стал ярким событием, способствующим укреплению дружеских связей и интереса к изучению русского языка и традиций.

🇷🇺 Russian House Partner of the Center for Public Diplomacy in Ghana Celebrates Maslenitsa with Ghanaian Schoolchildren

The partner Russian House of the Center for Public Diplomacy in Ghana hosted a Maslenitsa celebration for students of the E-mort School Complex. The event aimed to introduce schoolchildren to the rich cultural traditions of Russia through its culinary heritage and folk customs.

During the festival, the students demonstrated their basic knowledge of the Russian language, which they are learning as part of their educational program. A lecture on the history and traditions of Maslenitsa was given by Natalya Stanislavovna Basalova, a lecturer at the Yaroslavl State Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushinsky. She spoke about the symbolism of the holiday, which marks the farewell to winter and the welcoming of spring, and explained the key customs of Maslenitsa week: baking and eating pancakes all week, visiting relatives and friends, and burning the Maslenitsa effigy as a symbol of the departing cold.

🇷🇺 The staff of the Russian House, together with Russian language teacher Everloving Owusuaa Apenteng, baked traditional pancakes with various fillings for the guests.

The celebration was a vibrant event that helped strengthen friendly ties and foster interest in learning the Russian language and its traditions.

Партнерский Русский дом Центра народной дипломатии в Гане провел торжественное мероприятие, приуроченное к празднованию Дня защитника Отечества. Праздник объединил друзей и партнеров партнерского Русского дома ЦНД, представителей дипломатического корпуса и активистов, интересующихся российской культурой и историей.

Среди почетных гостей мероприятия присутствовали военный атташе при посольстве РФ в Гане Виктор Долгеров, помощник военного атташе Евгений Бояркин, а также советник посольства РФ в Гане Владислав Малаховский.

Торжественная часть началась с исполнения государственных гимнов России и Ганы, что подчеркнуло дружественный характер встречи и уважение к традициям обеих стран. С приветственным словом к собравшимся обратился военный атташе Виктор Долгеров, который рассказал об исторической значимости Дня защитника Отечества для России и российского народа, отметив важность сохранения памяти о защитниках Родины.

Сотрудники партнерского Русского дома Центра народной дипломатии продолжили программу лекцией о происхождении праздника и культурных традициях, связанных с 23 февраля. Для гостей была также организована увлекательная квиз-игра, в ходе которой участники, разделенные на три команды, смогли проверить свои знания об основных аспектах этого дня. По итогам интеллектуального состязания все команды были награждены сладкими призами.

Ярким завершением вечера стало выступление активистов Ассоциации студентов-русистов университета Ганы (UGRUSSA), которые исполнили «Танец с флагами», символизирующий память и общее наследие двух стран. Мероприятие прошло в теплой и дружественной атмосфере, способствуя дальнейшему укреплению культурных связей между Россией и Ганой.

The Partner Russian House of the Center for Public Diplomacy in Ghana held a ceremonial event dedicated to the celebration of Fatherland Defender’s Day. The holiday brought together friends and partners of the Partner Russian House CPD, representatives of the diplomatic corps, and activists interested in Russian culture and history.

Among the distinguished guests attending the event were the Military Attaché at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Ghana, Viktor Dolgerov; the Assistant Military Attaché, Evgeny Boyarkin; and the Counsellor at the Russian Embassy in Ghana, Vladislav Malakhovskiy.

The official part of the event began with the performance of the national anthems of Russia and Ghana, underscoring the friendly nature of the gathering and respect for the traditions of both countries. Military Attaché Viktor Dolgerov addressed those present with a welcoming speech, speaking about the historical significance of Fatherland Defender’s Day for Russia and its people, emphasizing the importance of preserving the memory of the country's defenders.

Staff members of the Partner Russian House of the Center for Public Diplomacy continued the program with a lecture on the origins of the holiday and the cultural traditions associated with February 23. An engaging quiz game was also organized for the guests, during which participants, divided into three teams, were able to test their knowledge of the key aspects of this day. Following the intellectual competition, all teams were awarded sweet prizes.

A vibrant conclusion to the evening was a performance by activists from the University of Ghana Russian Studies Students Association (UGRUSSA), who presented a "Flag Dance," symbolizing the memory and shared heritage of the two countries. The event took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, contributing to the further strengthening of cultural ties between Russia and Ghana.
