Commander Mark Galliott maintained the lockdown protest was just "angry, aggressive young males there to fight the police, not to protest about freedom."

Cool story, bro.

TAX THAT!! AOC's Met Gala Dress Designer in Debt to IRS for Withholding Worker Benefits (Report)

Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez appeared at the Met Gala event in a dress with the words, "Tax the rich," splashed all over it - a message that might have given the shivers to the designer Aurora James.

James reportedly has outstanding tax bills and several rent arrears, according to the New York Post citing details from the NY State Tax Warrant Notice System.

AOC initially claimed she hadn't paid for her ticket to the gala, which was denied by Vogue - meaning she probably stumped up the measly sum of $35,000 to attend.

Oh, karma can be a taxing thing to deal with sometimes.

I know some people are upset that the heavies amongst the police have been unnecessarily violent against freedom protesters, but having spoken to some good officers over the past week, I can tell you one way to change the culture of our police forces is by encouraging those inside them who are pushing back. To that end, consider donating to help them fight at https://www.gofundme.com/f/say-no-to-mandating-of-the-covid-vaccines

Today we saw unionists - normally big on the “solidarity” thing - warring with each other over the ‘no jab, no job’ regime in Victoria.
This was the moment where our leaders needed to pause & reflect on why Australians are so divided right now & try to work to get rid of this division. A good start would have been immediately allowing peaceful protest marches to go ahead unimpeded and moving to end unnecessary restrictions on our freedom & jettison plans for medical discrimination (eg ‘no jab, no job’ requirements & vaccine passports).
Instead, police responded by firing on people with projectiles once again & Labor’s Daniel Andrews responded by shutting down the construction industry, which will mean loss of pay to many.
I’ve never seen my country so divided. The blame can be sheeted home to our political & media elite, dictatorial health bureaucrats & lapdog police commissioners. All for a virus with an IFR of 0.27%!
End this madness now!

Shutting down the construction industry and costing many desperate workers their pay seems like a strategy of lighting a fire directly under the powder keg that much of the country has sadly become. The result will undoubtedly be explosive.

Some of National Party colleagues have taken offence at me calling out police brutality against an unarmed old lady in Melbourne over the weekend. They’ve run off to a left-wing reporter to complain about me.
Many people have seen the video of a police officer body-slamming this 70-something year old woman to the ground and then he and another officer pepper-spraying her to the face.
There is no way such actions can be justified. I will continue to call this brutality out. Those who think such actions are justified will have to explain themselves.
I also encourage this woman to contact me at george.christensen.mp@aph.gov.au if she needs any support right now.

Many journalists are out there attacking protesters and saying they don’t understand the violence.
I condemn any and all violence but I understand it all right.
Families have lost their incomes, their livelihoods, and in some cases, have taken their own lives due to financial strain and mental health issues caused by lockdowns.
The media and political elite along with the laptop class don’t understand it because they haven’t lost everything like the people who have taken to the streets.
They don’t understand how people can hold an inviolable belief that they won’t lay down because their betters told them too.
The bottom line is that keeping free people locked down like they’re prisoners and forcing people to have a vaccination to keep their job or go shopping is unnecessary and contrary to our values as a nation. People should have the right to movement and the right to make informed choices for themselves and their families without coercion.

I know I’ve barely been coping of late.

But this…..

“Melbourne 'freedom' protest: Tradies gather outside CFMEU again after worker's death.

A man's body has been found at a worksite in Melbourne. fuelling the anger of protesters who have descended on the city again.

The Herald Sun reports the man's body was found at a site on Spencer Street at about 7am this morning. It is understood he took his own life.”

"What needs to happen right now is political leaders need to take a step back, take a deep breath and say: 'How can we pour cold water on this fire?'
"Saying that you're going to close down the construction industry, and it cost people their jobs and their pay packets, that's pouring petrol onto the fire.
"We need to end the madness, and that means listening to the concerns of people."

From Senator Alex Antic:

“Why are there two sets of rules?

I condemn the acts of violence seen on Melbourne streets but it’s interesting how the activist media and political elites vary their position depending on the purpose of a protest.

To them:

BLM Protest = Brave

Freedom Protest = Selfish

Have any of them stopped to think that keeping people locked down while their businesses fail and coercing them to take medical procedures against their will might be cause for legitimate complaint?”
