💡 The Concept: From Wasted Waters to Lifesaving Resource

Every monsoon, 40 TMC of floodwater from the Krishna River flows wastefully into the sea. This project proposes to divert that floodwater through a 100-kilometre-long gravity-powered tunnel to the Ujani Dam.

Once stored in Ujani, this water will be distributed to the drought-stricken districts of Beed, Dharashiv, Solapur, and Pune, transforming barren landscapes into fertile farmland.

पीएम ई-बस सेवा योजनेअंतर्गत सोलापूर शहराला १०० इ-बसेस मिळणार आहेत. त्यासाठीचा आवश्यक तो प्रस्ताव यापूर्वीच महापालिका आयुक्तांनी शासनाकडे पाठवला होता, त्यावर शासनाने आता शिक्कामोर्तब केला आहे. यापूर्वी सोलापूरला जेएनएनयूआरएम योजनेतून २०० बसेस मिळाल्या होत्या. तांत्रिक त्रुटीमुळे मात्र सध्या त्या भंगारात पडल्या आहेत. नव्या योजनेअंतर्गत मिळणाऱ्या या १०० बसेस संबंधित कंत्राटदारामार्फतच चालविण्यात येणार आहेत. यामुळे महापालिका अथवा महापालिका परिवहन उपक्रमाचा यात प्रत्यक्षात संपर्क येणार नाही. बसची खरेदी पब्लिक प्रायव्हेट पार्टनरशीप (पीपीपी) पध्दतीने केली जाणार आहे. कंत्राटदारांकडून यासाठी बोली लावली जाईल आणि खासगी कंत्राटदारही यासाठी पुढे येऊ शकतात. ही योजना २०३७ पर्यंत राबवण्यात येईल. केंद्र शासनाकडूनच याचे टेंडर काढण्यात आले आहे. त्यांच्याकडूनच ही प्रक्रिया पूर्ण केली जात आहे. या प्रक्रियेत महापालिकेचा थेट संबंध राहणार नाही. केंद्र शासनाच्या अंतर्गत या योजनेतील १०० बसेस चालविण्याची सर्व जबाबदारी निश्चित केलेल्या संबंधित कंत्राटदारावरच राहणार आहे. मेंटेनन्स, कर्मचारी यासह सर्वकाही संबंधित कंत्राटदार बघणार आहे.


सोलापूर शहराला मिळणाऱ्या १०० इ-बसेसची सर्व जबाबदारी संबंधित कंत्राटदारावर राहणार आहे. सोलापूर महापालिका परिवहन उपक्रमांकडून केवळ पायाभूत सुविधा (इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर) उपलब्ध करून देण्यात येणार आहे. यामध्ये जागा व इतर सुविधांचा समावेश आहे. शहरातील न्यू बुधवार पेठ येथील बस डेपोची जागा त्यासाठी देण्यात येणार आहे
