This is to inform all applicants whose National Graduate Admission Test (NGAT) examination center is Mekelle University that the official examination schedule has been released. Candidates are advised to carefully review the following information:

Candidates are advised to mark the examination date and make the necessary preparations in advance.

Presentation of a valid admission card is mandatory.

The use of calculators is strictly prohibited.

የ2018 ዓ.ም የግማሽ ዓመት የብሔራዊ ድህረ ምረቃ መግቢያ ፈተና (NGAT) የሚሰጠው የካቲት 4 ቀን 2018 ዓ.ም ስለሆነ ከወዲሁ ዝግጅት እንድታደርጉ እያሳወቅን የተፈታኞች ስም ዝርዝርና የፈተና ቦታ በዩኒቨርሲተው ማህበራዊ ሚዲያ የምናሳውቅ ይሆናል፡፡

❓ NGAT: Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: When is the exam?
A: The exam will be held nationwide on February 11, 2026 (Yekatit 4, 2018 E.C.). It will be held at the same time nationwide.

Q: Is the exam different for PhD vs. Master's applicants?
A: No. The NGAT is a standardized test. The questions are the same for all fields of study and for both 2nd and 3rd-degree applicants.

Q: Can I change my testing center?
A: Currently, no. You must take the exam at the center you selected during registration. We will share when there is new info .

Q: What are the requirements for entry?
A: You must bring your Physical ID and your printed Admission Ticket.

Q: Where can I get my Admission Ticket?
A: Log in to your MoE Registration Dashboard to download and print yours immediately. You must have this to enter the exam hall.

Q: How do I know my specific room or building assignment?
A: Check the official Facebook page, Telegram channel, or website of the specific university you chose as your exam center. Some universities are currently posting the full name lists and room assignments there.
🔔 Reminder: For centers with many applicants like AAU, please check their official social media pages frequently for shift schedules (Morning/Afternoon).
