What if? After hearing about the threat in the north and wanting to protect her half brother, she said the Night King?

The Kingslayer
From watching the series multiple times and reading the books currently there’s always something that kind of bugs me, why does everyone hate Jaime Lannister for killing the mad king, by all accounts everyone knew the king was obviously going insane, burning people to death in court. And the exchange between Jaime and Nedd in the throne room where Jaime said it felt like justice after Aerys killed Nedd’s father and brother, surely that warrants some respect from Nedd.

Who died?
In late season 7, when the small band of men go north of the wall to try to capture one of the dead to bring back to Westeros to show Cersei, several men were killed by the hoard of the dead after the men were marooned on the rocks surrounded by ice. The ones I could identify were Jon, The Hound, Jorah, Gendry, Tormund, Beric, and Thoros. I thought all of them made it out.
After the ice melted and before Dani arrived on her dragon, 1-3 of the men were killed by the dead. Were they random nobodies, or had they been introduced in previous seasons? Maybe one was Thoros. I rewound it several times and can’t make them out. It’s been bothering me, so I’d appreciate it if someone could enlighten me.

Casual here, can anyone explain detaily why the final is so bad?
I finished the show a bit ago, I went completely blind and I LOVED it. I didn't enjoy last 2 seasons as much as other ones but I didn't hate them. I had some problems with it but they were not that big.
Before I start watching, I was excited to see season 8. Only and only to see how bad it was. I heard of how bad the GoT final is a million times from internet, friends, family and all that. My expectations were so low that I thought maybe all of the show was just Bran's nightmare.
But when I watched the final, tbh I wasn't that mad. Yes, everything was rushed and there were many logical mistakes. But if it's just those , I don't think it deserves that much hate. I googled what's wrong with the final but everyone was saying a few same stuff, so I decided to come to the final destination, Reddit.
Like I said, I'm a casual. I don't understand much about TV shows or movies. I'm really curious so can someone explain me details about the stuff and scenes that were sh*t?

Brandon Stark/Three Eyed Raven evolution
Why do you think beginning in Season 7 of the series that Brandon Stark became an emotionless bore?
I don’t know if it’s bad acting (doubtful) or what or why this is, Having not read the books is this melancholy disposition present within the books as well?

Cersei as Regent
My understanding of the title of Regent is a temporary position in usually 2 circumstances
A: there is no leader of a nation so one is appointed till an official one is selected
Or in how it is with Joffery,The next in line is to young and they rule in thier stead
But....Cersei does none of that
Joffery Cleary has all the power and final say,Cersei just ....is there
So when they constantly mention how Cersei is to be listened and respected as Queen Regent I'm confused as she litterly doesn't do any of what that role is
