At which major plot point did the showrunners surpass the source material?
I’ve only read 4 of the 5 books but at this point I’m not ever going to read ADWD so I don’t care about spoilers. Was it Jon Snow being murdered or was it before that?

What does Robert think happened to Lyanna?
I just restarted the series for the 100th time and I realized I dont think they address exactly what Robert thinks happened to Lyanna. Obviously he knows shes dead and I just assume he thinks Rhaegar killed her. Theres no way he knows that she died during child birth becasue then hed be asking wheres the child? Maybe someone who read the books knows. Also it still amazes me after all these watches im still coming across things I didnt catch before or new questions
