This has probably been asked many a time, but can someone explain the whole thing about Hodor and time travel spacey wacey thing going on.
I'm guessing, that the hold the door thing happened in a future timeline and Bran Borrowed another timeline/past timeline of Hodor which messed him up?

"... thanks to the magical help of a raven with three eyes..."
I thought it was strange that maesters and in the Citadel, including Archmaester Ebrose appeared to have never heard of the the Three Eyed Raven

Heir to the Casterly Rock
Hi guys, a question. Could Tywin name whoever he wanted as the heir to the Rock? (of course, considering familiar ties) What interests me the most is, whether he could name Kevan as the heir of the Rock or maybe his son Lancel. We know that Tywin would never allow Tyrion to inherit, which leaves us Kevan (the brother) and Cersei (the daughter). However, considering that Tywin does not think highly of his daughter Kevan seems a much better choice. So, could he name him the heir? Thanks for the answers in advance ;)

What was going on b/t Alys Karstark and Littlefinger?
We saw Arya spying on them speaking... whispering to one another followed by Littlefinger passing a note to Alys. Was that note the scroll Littlefinter wanted Arya to find in his room?

Why didn’t Robert go to the Tower of Joy to save Lyanna?
Considering Robert led a whole rebellion to save the woman he “loves”, it’s surprising he didn’t want to do the actual saving himself.
Even if he’d just been crowned, surely it would’ve been typical Robert to make his first action as King going to save Lyanna.
Plus if he was worried about leaving KL so soon, he could easily have left Jon Arryn to rule in his stead, and get used to the years he’d spend doing that.
So why wasn’t Robert at the Tower of Joy?

Just finished watching GOT for the first time and was wondering why people hated the last few seasons so much, I very much enjoyed it...
WTF Brandon was made King. The worse character IMO, never cared for his storyline. Now I get the hate. What a dumb ending. Just needed to rant.

Just finished the series
Seasons 7 and 8 seem like fanfic. The weird pacing and random “crossovers” just make for a rushed and botched ending. There was no build-up to Bran being king, no build-up to Dany going full berserker, and everything was just lacklustre. It seems like instead of tying up the loose ends, they just snipped them off wherever they could.
Cersei and Jaime’s deaths were so anticlimactic. After 8 seasons of wishing death on Cersei, and watching Jaime’s whole character arc, killing them in rubble just felt weak. Same with The Hound. He didn’t get his revenge, The Mountain was already a zombie and they both died in the end.
It just felt like 5 seasons of greatness, 1 of goodness, and 2 of mediocrity.
I know I’m like 5 years behind the times, but I needed to rant

Crazy Bran theory that I had hoped would be true.
The moment I saw Bran scramble with Hodors brain in the past, I instantly envisioned a scenario where the Mad King and Dany were connected by Brand warging.
Bran connects the Mad Kings mind with Danys mind when she is taking Kings Landing.
It would certainly add a new spin on the Mad King ranting about “Burn them all” at the end of his life. And it would have neatly nipped any complaints about Dany acting out of character. Heck he even had his “Burn them all” flashback in the same episode as the Hodor reveal. So imo, them being related seems plausible.
And its not like it would have been a strange plot point considering it was heavily hinted that Bran or the Three Eyed Raven had orchestrated everything so that Bran would sit on the throne.
They gave him the ability to scramble minds through space/time, so why not actually have it be plot relevant?

What if Lyanna Never Died?
What would have happened if Lyanna Stark didn't die from giving birth to Jon at the Tower of Joy?
Rhaegar was her true love and was legally married to him, and by the point where she is found by Ned Rhaegar has already been killed by Robert who was betroved to Lyanna and now King.
Would Lyanna actually go on to marry Robert or would she reject him. And if she did reject Robert how would Ned have acted, would he be on her side and try to keep her from Robert or would he try and talk her into marrying Robert?
What about baby Jon, would he still have to be taken in as Ned's bastard or would Lyanna raise him herself? Does this change if she does go on to marry Robert?

Personally I think that Lyanna, the She-Wolf, would refuse to marry Robert and fight Ned on it. Ned would be caught in the middle of this and would want what's best for her and everyone so I think he'd try to persuade her until he would realize just how much Lyanna would probably loathe that life.
I think Ned would simply take her back up North and try to avoid everything until he was made to refuse the marriage as diplomatically as they could. But by that point they'd already be back at Winterfell with all their armies and defenses.
The Lannisters would be offering up Cersei who's a really good deal on paper and would much rather themselves on the throne rather than the Starks so they're not going to offer any help to fight for Lyanna, the Tyrells and Martells had just finished fighting Robert, Jon Arryn would never fight against Ned, and the Riverlands are much more allied with and tied to the Starks than they are to the Baratheons, so it's not like Robert has the forces to take on the North so I think he just has to accept the refusal.
Baby Jon probably gets raised as secretly as possible, but I'm not sure if he'd still be seen as Ned's bastard to not make Robert any angrier or if Lyanna would still just raise him as her own. I feel like Lyanna would be too motherly and stuff would line up too well for people to not at least assume or rumor about Jon being her son. Plus she did actually marry Rhaegar legally and willingly so she may just not hide anything and just call him Aegon as well.
This however would potentially give Robert the rally cry he would need to take on the North if he found out that Rhaegar was legally wed to Lyanna and then had a son, this is obvious competition since not only is he the last Targaeryan left in Westeros but he's the rightful heir and being brought up by a Lord that had refused the orders of his new King. Lannisters would also see this as a threat since they've got Cersei on the thrown, but would also worry about Jon/Aegon rising up to take the throne for himself, so now they'd be invested. So the news of Jon/Aegon being acknowledged as the rightful heir to Rhaegar could spell out another civil war around that.

What do you all think would happen if Lyanna had just survived her pregnancy?

What do you think would be the right thing to do?
As we all know, a very difficult situation has developed between Rhaegar, Lyanna and Robert. Liana was Robert's fiancee. Rhaegar was married and had children. But here we are - Rhaegar and Liana fell in love with each other so much that they risked everything they had. I thought for a long time about how it would be possible to avoid the uprising, the overthrow of the king, the murder of all the Targaryens .. And most importantly, how could they be together?

Looking for fics
Is there any fics where Ned and Ashara are together (they could be married or were in love or had a fling or Ashara died and Ned marries Catelyn) and Robb and Jon being their twin sons (robb being the eldest)?. The kids can either be bastards or true born. If there is any fics that matches the description please suggest them.

Red Woman
Rewatching yet again… I think I understand but I’m a bit slow so I need confirmation. Does Melisandre taking off her necklace and turning into an old lady show that the Lord of Light wont allow her to die until her duty has been fulfilled and that’s the reason she turns to dust after the Long Night?
Also side note… the whole ‘no one’ Arya story line confuses the hell out of me! I don’t understand the faceless men at all lol

Any future GOT prequel specifically pertaining to the main timeline of GOT
I’m a bit confused, I know the Jon Snow prequel is the most wanted thing probably in the GOT community & I get why but I’m having trouble understanding what it would even be about!? I mean like first would it be a limited series type deal like a season that’s it or would it be a legit full on show like multiple seasons? Also like if they do the Jon Snow prequel & it’s a full on show with multiple seasons what are the odds it’s mainly just him & his story without all the other characters from the original GOT? The reason I ask that is cause like what so it would be jon & new story new characters or maybe old characters from the OG show here & there? I just feel like the odds of a realistic story where it’s Jon but we don’t see any of the other existing characters would make zero sense so idk I’m confused. Also like he’s at the nights watch what more could happen after this for him in a prequel like I feel like for it to make sense it would legit have to be a full on multiple season show with many if not all the other OG characters that are still alive unless I’m wrong someone please educate me
Ps: I’m fairly new to the entire GOT universe I only watched the show completely for the first time very recently & have just been learning about the lord so yea

Still puzzled by the lord of light?
He brought jon back and Brought others back or sinoly kept them alive and guided people towards the path they needed to be on but it still confuses me as to who or what he really was and why he cared?
