Watching first time GOT and such a goated series

just started watching this show

I never thought GoT would be my thing with how much everyone talked about the abuse and gore and confusing story lines, but my boyfriend convinced me to start it a month ago. “We’ll just watch a couple episodes and we can stop if it’s not your thing”.

We’ve been watching 2-3 episodes a day because I just HAVE TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS. Every story line is so compelling. The characters are so lovable and despicable. Everyone has strong morals and then they’re immediately thrown out the window or taken to the extremes. The end of season one was INSANE. I can’t even imagine how fun the watch parties must have been back in the day.

I’ve grown to just adoreeee the Starks and want the North to be liberated so badly. I just finished season 3 last night and my face was wet before I even realized I was crying. Tywin Lannister, count your fucking days. I went to bed upset. I woke up still upset.

Fuck this show. I can’t wait to start season 4.

Q: what does Jaime owe Brienne?

Hello, I’m rewatching the series for the first time and am wondering if I’ve forgotten something specific. Help me out?

In Season 3 Episode 6, Jaime tells Roose Bolton that he “owes Brienne a debt”. Did she save his life previously, or is he referring to just her helping him travel to King’s Landing?

I can’t think of one specific event he’s referring to. Thanks very much!

first time watching s 8 ep 5

i just finished “the bells” for the first time. and can i just say… what the fuck?

i’ve been so obsessed and immersed in GOT since i started that it’s not even funny. and i hate that i feel the way i feel about this episode, because i LOVE the show. but it’s genuinely the STUPIDEST episode i think i’ve ever seen. it’s genuinely so ridiculous to me.

dany doing a complete 180? what the hell. dany not trusting jon despite jon doing NOTHING for her to not trust him? what the hell. tyrion having to BEG dany to not blow up kings landing? what the hell. dany actually blowing up kings landing? WHAT. THE. HELL.

and then the scene w jaime and cersei. the sad music in the background. was i supposed to feel… upset? or sad? because all i felt was relief i can’t lie 😭jaime has been incredibly hit or miss for me the entire show but i genuinely gave up on him when he left BRIENNE to go die w cersei. get real bro 😭

tyrion being a sweetie and trying to tell cersei to surrender so she wouldn’t die despite her being cruel to him his whole life is so telling of him as a person. and then she had the nerve to be SCARED?? AND CRY?? girl you literally acted like you were gonna win and did not gaf about what tyrion was warning you about.

and jon. sweet summer child. dany doesn’t even trust you and yet you are so loyal to her. jon is such a good person that sometimes it makes me angry. because he literally gets taken advantage of at times bc of it and is just like 🙁. like jon 😔❤️. he’s my favorite character so i’ll never hate him but what are we doing twin.

and dany… the audacity of her to say jon betrayed her by telling his SISTERS about his mother and father. who is she to decide that he can’t talk about his OWN FAMILY with his OWN FAMILY? dany and jon have been my top 2 favorites since season 1 episode 1 and this episode really made me lose most respect for dany. i’m so heartbroken by her behavior i can’t lie.
