What sparked the curse of harrenhall? (Read desc)

So i know it isnt tied to just one family, and it has been going since at least the building of harrenhall.

But was it going even before that?

Also, i know it isn't 100% a certain thing that the curse is real, but everything points towards it being a real thing

So what sparked it? Is it from building harrenhall so close to the god's eye, where the children of the forest still live?

I MIGHT have a problem

I started watching this series last Wednesday and i just finished season 4… what the fuck am I doing with my life. But seriously this might be the best tv series I’ve ever watched and worth the HBO subscription

Is this foreshadowing?

"The old Kings of Winter are down there, sitting on their thrones with

stone wolves at their feet and iron swords across their laps, but it’s not them I’m afraid

of. I scream that I’m not a Stark, that this isn’t my place, but it’s no good, I have to go

anyway, so I start down, feeling the walls as I descend, with no torch to light the way. It

gets darker and darker, until I want to scream.” He stopped, frowning, embarrassed.

“That’s when I always wake.”

This is from the first book around 29 something chapter of Jon. Whenever I see TikTok they say that Jon has no connection to Targaryen and he's connected to north but this doesn't even feel subtle? Or am I reading too much too early?

Finished season 8, and felt so emotional for Jamie and Tyrion

While Tyrion secretly frees his brother Jamie from Daenerys camp to go to Kings landing and convince cersei, he tells Jamie "You were the only one who didn't treat me like a monster, you were the only one i ever had" and then hugs and cries a little, they knew somewhere that this might be the last time they are seeing each other.

When Jamie was trying to escape with Cersei while the Red keep was falling, but the exit was blocked by the debris, he realizes that they will not make it and consoles cersei and hugs her while they die. After all that happened, he came to Kings landing with a pure heart just for a chance to save his lover.

Later when Tyrion walks around the debris of Red keep looking if he will find his brother, and sees the golden hand of Jamie and finds his body, it was really heartbreaking.

All these moments were so emotional i fell tears. Tyrion never hurted anyone for power. He did whatever right he could do. Jamie did mistakes earlier but regretted them and then did whatever right he could.
He saved Tyrion from a false execution, helped him escape, and went against cersei and enthusiastically fought with Winterfell against white walker army.

I love Jamie and Tyrion.

How would the history of the Targaryens have played out if Viserys made Daemon his Hand instead of Otto Hightower?

I think game of thrones is now my favourite show

I went into the show expecting to hate season 8 but i actually enjoyed it quite a lot. Obviously I wasn't there watching it every Sunday for years I binged it all in 4 weeks, when I got to season 7 I could definitely tell the show had changed but I accepted it because I was getting close to the finale and I get why some people dont like that but I didn't mind much. Pacing was a bit too quick in some parts especially the second half of the iron throne but it didn't feel like a completely new show. Curious to what people have issue with outside of the structure of the season because I thought it was mostly fine.

[S1E8] What-If : When Catelyn asks to speak to Robb alone, how would it have played out if Jon Snow was in the tent instead of Theon?

(Guide on GoTKingsroad) How to Triple Your Drogon Rewards Every Spawn (Channel Hopping Meta)

Ello! Everyone posting this here since there isn't a dedicated community for the GoTKingsroad game yet. I wanted to share a major progression trick I discovered for farming the Drogon World Boss Event at Dreadfort and Crowsnest. If you have enough Resource Cards/Tokens, you can kill him up to three times per spawn instead of just once.

The Discovery: I noticed a visual desync where the main map icon stays red (alive) after Drogon dies on my screen, but the mini-map turns grey (dead). This is because the world boss instance tracks rewards and health by individual server channels, not your global account ID.

How to Do It:

1. Start in CH.1: Join the spawn at CH.1, defeat Drogon, and claim the rewards.
2. Switch Channels Immediately: Don't leave the area. Look at the top of your UI next to the chat/map parameters and manually switch to CH.2.
3. Fight Boss #2: If the players on CH.2 haven't killed him yet, he will still be alive on that instance. Defeat him and claim rewards again.
4. Repeat for CH.3: Immediately swap to CH.3 to catch the final instance before the event timer runs out completely.

You probably wonder; "Wait, how do I change the Channels?" Easy, press ALT and your Mouse will appear, use it to CLICK At the Round Icon that says "CH." It's located next your minimap.

Red Wedding - My Gf Wants to Quit, Need Help

Please refrain from spoiling or hinting at absolutely anything in the replies. This show is amazing, and I want to keep a completely unspoiled experience.

Me and my girlfriend have been watching roughly 1-2 episodes daily, and have just finished season 3 episode 9. I absolutely love the show, and I love following along all the plot lines. My girlfriend likes the show as well, but after this episode, she doesn’t want to watch anymore because all her favorite characters are dead.

While I love the show, I love watching it with my girlfriend much much more. Is there any non-spoiler things I can say to her that can convince her to keep watching?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Love the show and the fandom. Hopefully can change her mind :)

Least favorite plot lines?

I am currently on my 6th rewatch and I’ve read the first three books. I can’t stand the plot lines of Tyrion being taken to the Eyrie or honestly anything to do with “the night is dark and full of terrors.”

Honestly, I also hated reading Stannis chapters on the books.

The character of lord Varys doesn't make sense in season 8

He is shown to be enforcing his original principle of "I support only those who work for common people", that's why he was trying to poison Daenerys and sending letters about Jon being the rightful heir which was strictly against Daenerys wish. BUT he didn't do the same when he was in king's landing. Cersei, Joffrey and many others were harmful towards common people since long time, but he didn't kill them, he was living in harmony with them.

Daenerys was the one who accepted him into her council despite him coming directly from Lannisters, she trusted him, trusted his plans which even failed some times. But since she killed some enemy soldiers caught in battle who were anyway speaking against her, then she becomes so bad that Varys literally tried to poison her and he should be seen as a hero doing that. Doesn't make sense.

And i know most characters don't make sense anyway, but the case of Varys is special because he is otherwise shown to be a cunning and intelligent person.
