Rationalizing how could it be logical for Arya to kill the NK

Disclaimer: I still think Jon Snow should’ve been the one to kill the Night King, Arya giving the final stroke made no sense and that should’ve been, beyond any doubt, Jon Snow’s role.

They established the cult of the faceless men around death, death is sacred and only the god with many faces may decide when someone’s time is up.

Jaqen Hagar should’ve told Arya in any scene that necromancy is sacrilegious and forbidden because it steals death from the god with many faces and renders the faces of the dead ‘unusable’ for the faceless men. In this way, it would’ve much less weird when she killed the NK, she would’ve had a spiritual motivation to kill the Night King, beyond just randomness of the showrunners.

Of course, it would’ve been miles better if Jon Snow just did it himself, but hey, it wouldn’t have been hard at all to give Arya’s actions another, more crafted layer.

Opinion on A Feast For Crows

I'm a massive Game of Thrones fan.

I've watched the show three times.

I'm halfway through reading A Feast For Crows.

Everyone says the TV shows starts to change from the books alot in the later seasons. I think some of the changes make sense. I feel like the book takes time away from the main characters like Jon and Dany to talk about side characters.

The Samwell and Cersi chapters are great.

What changes do you think they made for the show are good and what changes are bad?

If Jon was in Robb's position in seasons 1-3 what decisions would he have made, and could he have prevented the Red Wedding?
