First time watcher Sn 3 Ep 9
What.
I decided to finally get around to watching GoT just a couple days ago, and I've been binge watching. I went into watching this show with very few spoilers; I read the first book and half of the second years and years ago, but past that, the only notion I had that this could happen was:
1. I know that GoT is infamous for killing off its characters with impunity, and
2. I've heard the words "The Red Wedding" before. (the name kind of implies what it is, but I thought it'd be something extravagant that happens with Daenerys or at least at King's Landing)
So this was entirely out of left field. The previous wedding business with the Lannisters put me off my guard and I completely forgot about The Red Wedding being a thing to even look out for.
And DAMN. Where's the story even supposed to go from here??? Like an entire main plot line is gone, what the hell?
Also I've been listening to the song Rains of Castamere for years with absolutely no context, cause it's an AWESOME song, but having the context now means that it will definitely be at the top of my playlist for the next few days.
And NO SPOILERS PLEASE.
From now on, I think I'm just going to assume that everyone dies in this show. Jon Snow? He's gonna die. Daenerys? Yup, she'll die. Arya? Also dead. Sansa? Tyrion? Yeah, they'll probably die. Bran and Rickon? Oh, they probably die as well. Who knows? Everyone's fair game apparently.

‘I thought I was the saviour of the planet’: how Game of Thrones’ Hannah Murray found a wellness cult – and lost her mind
She landed a role in hit TV show Skins at 17 and went on to star in the fantasy epic. Then she was drawn towards a mysterious spiritual community. How did she end up being sectioned?
Which minor character death rocked you the most?
Re-watching as I tend to do when I'm sick, and just curious what small characters' deaths got to other people. ETA: For the TV series
Right now I'm on S2E10, and Maester Luwin's death just absolutely destroyed me. Like, I just loved that man. Jory was also rough one, especially the way he was killed. And Rodrik Cassel too because man, that sword was dull af.
There are others of course later in the show, but those are the ones that are the most prominent for me right now.
What say you all?
